It's not exactly the new year here in the Mountain Standard time zone, but regardless, happy new year, everyone!

This year I'm not going to make my customary droning speech. 2009 was not exactly a banner year for TFN - actually basically nothing has happened all year! - so for all intents and purposes we go into 2010 just as we were in 2009: tired and drunk.

Hurrah!

I love being tired and drunk.

The only thing that happened this year was that TFN's activity was contained almost entirely within 5 or 6 blog-like topics on TFN Social. And, I believe, actually increased as a result. >_>

Also, we got new users, except by "new" I mean "old", and by "users" I mean "CG7".

Hm, well, CG7 did come back. That increased TFN proper's activity, although Tiger is gone, which decreased it. I wouldn't say there was a significant change in the deadness of the site, although (1) we did get your review reviews and (2) as you observe, the boards have become more blog-like than forum-like.

The DSB is still going strong though.

I started posting in some TFN Social topics, which is of course away from the DSB, so that should count for something <.<
At least half of something.

Oh, he made sure to troll the Poll Editor, but that was it. :\
