What happened was Board 8 got framed for trying to manipulate it causing the rally topic to get stickied instead of buried beneath a bunch of World Championship (which are just starting apparently) topics. So the added traffic from that + sticky just obliterated Snake.
Board 8 immediately produced evidence that they were framed and it was a straight up lie that they did it but the damage has been done.

What went on was the rally topic was struggling and getting buried behind the championship discussion, so Draven was getting little support out of it.
Then some "new users" who hadn't ever been seen before went onto Board 8 and the Stats Topic and started "planning" manipulation. Board 8 called it out as a patently obvious attempt to frame the board, but the LoL mods bought it, stickied their own rally topic in response and claimed we brought it on ourselves.
Board 8 immediately provided evidence that the users in question were lying. But even though they did so almost immediately the damage was just too extreme.
Bacon came in later with the bonus poll.

Of course it won't change because this gives GFAQs free site hits and thus ad revenue.
It's the reason I stopped caring about these after battle III, and wondered if it was best they stopped doing them.
