For me, those are the kind of moments I want to see in all fiction. I find it much more entertaining than comedy or action, and most drama. Could just be because character interaction is my favorite part of fiction, though.

It's not bad per se, but the last episodes are full of retarded philosophical bullshit. That's even worse than normal philosophical bullshit, and don't go saying that I "just don't get it" because I would hope that I do, otherwise I've wasted a lot of time in college and have gotten the grades I have because I must be screwing the teachers.
I don't disagree... completely. I admit, for a long time I held that exact sentiment, but over time, I've grown to like the last two episodes better.
Granted, they still fall short of other episodes, but I no longer despise 25/26.
The last episodes are the best episodes, dude.
Unless you are grouping Episode 24 in there, you're wrong.
If you are counting 24, it would have been simpler to say "24 is the best episode" don't bring it down with 25/26 there.

Not really. It's good, but not even on the tier of the best shows. Even if I only counted the "Old" Family Guy (lol elitism).
And yes, House does follow the same basic plotline for most episodes. (I say most, because there ARE exceptions, such as the Season 2 Finale).
