| Level: 49 Liberal Arts Major | I'll start: Fluent English Romanian French Semi-fluent Spanish Italian Danish Familiar Latin German Modern Greek Japanese Norwegian Russian Arabic Finnish Vaguely Familiar Serbo-Croatian Swedish Galician Icelandic Portugese Catalan Old English Swahili Gaelic Chinese (Mandarin) Dutch Modern Hebrew Hindu Polish Esperanto Lojban Quenya/Elvish By fluent I mean I can read, write, and speak the language; by semi-fluent I mean I can read and write the language to a reasonable degree; by familiar I mean I have a good grasp of basic syntax, morphology, orthography, and phonology, with a small-to-medium vocabulary; by vaguely familiar I mean I have some grasp of the syntax, morphology, and phonology, with at least some vague understanding of orthography, but from zero to maybe five words in my vocabulary. It's also rather difficult for me to tell some of the vaguely familiar languages apart. >_> ___ ~ Ogordemir ~ Buddha promised me Nirvana and all I got was this lousy T-shirt. | Level: 49 Liberal Arts Major | This comes as a surprise to me. How know-you German? Neon Genesis Evangelion Interest in the World War II Timeframe EVA actually had a larger role than it probably should have in raising my interest over German. I'd so take that class if my school offered it, but they only offer Spanish and French. --- xp1337: Your former local puppet admin.
