Anybody have any ideas for what could replace grinding in an MMO? Besides an absurdly low level cap, of course.

Having an insane amount of quests seems to me more like it's hiding the fact that you're grinding than replacing the system altogether. You could probably achieve the same effect in other MMO's by rounding up a bunch of people you like and going to hunt some high-level mobs together.

Grinding sucks, but there isn't much that can replace it in an MMORPG.

Now, there are ways to speed it up, though. For example, unnerf Necrosis.

Or just unnerf Necrosis for me. <_<
