Given that this message board is no stranger to long, deliberating arguments wherein opposing parties at times require some time to respond to one another, the ability to flag a topic to alert you when someone has posted a new message a la the private messages/sysnotes alerts might be a convenient feature.

Anyone agree?

Actually that would be kinda nice - like the PM thing. Another thing I was thinking about for those long debates was a current status update, where you could say that you're going to dinner and will be back soon and whatnot placed below the avatar, along with logged in/out statement, because frankly, anyone above like level 7 can see whether anyone is logged in or not so it's not that big a mystery. Possibly keep the cloak thing for a set level or w/e people want.
