Which is great for us because he's easy EXP.
lets lapras ko his pokemon
allows a ~28 HP Zapdos to rip through half his team, including an onix with only drill peck.
On the other hand, perhaps the Elite Four are alt universe TPP characters. Lorelei is in democracy mode, explaining her marked increase in danger and competence compared to the rest.

Zapdos no-damage sweeps Lorelei.
Bruno gets wrecked, but Lord Helix sacrifices himself for the team, taking out him and Bruno. (Machamp crits Helix on Submission, but the recoil causes a double KO)
Zapdos obliterates Agatha. Perfect, beautiful sweep.
Lance... goddamnit I kind of forget. IIRC, Zapdos swept through until Dragonite, then the chat went crazy and started a bunch of switches, but they eventually got through it.
vs Blue
Zapdos wrecks Pidgeot and Alakazham.
Takes a while for the chat to react to Rhydon but minimal damage occurs, eventually switch to Nidoking and pull a clutch Surf, one-shot.
Switched back to Zapdos for Arcanine, wrecked.
Switch to Bird Jesus for Exeggutor, Sky Attack wrecked.
Bird Jesus spams Sand Attack at Blastoise for 3 turns before finally getting taken down by Blizzard. ATV jumps into the breach and screws around with Disable and Leech Life for a couple of turns because Blastoise can't hit him.
Zapdos returns and wrecks with Thundershock (Thunder ran out of PP on... Alakazham?)

Dragonairs were dumb and kept using Agility so Zapdos was able to just Thundershock through them. Crits helped too (crits for daaaays). Aerodactyl and Gyarados were OHKO'd by Thundershock.
(Thunder ran out of PP on... Alakazham?)
Missing Arcanine, I think, but same dif.

Yeah, the live-updater guy on Reddit didn't realize this either. I'm not sure disabling Hyper Beam was necessary considering the AI thought his all-Agility, all-Barrier strategy was a sure thing.

I think the (hopeful) plan is that they will start anew, but hack the rom so Red's team at the very end of the game will be -the- team.
This would be great, but who knows what the stream creator will do.

Yeah, this is unfortunate. A friend and I wanted to start a run through Gold and Silver together but ran right into this problem. Allegedly, you can replace the batteries, but that looks like a lot of work, so...

The poll editor eats any option that has ' in it. This is why a lot of my polls sound more "formal" because I HAVE to use "Cannot" "Do not" since you can't use "can't" "don't"
