Beat Twilight Princess.

Hyrule Castle was kinda meh.

I guess the ISO I downloaded is broken because there was ZERO music in the entire castle, EXCEPT for the room leading up to the boss door, and even then every fight after that was lacking music. Very disappointing.

And there's no music in the credits, either.

The first phase of the Ganon fight was a nice throwback to OoT.
The second phase was annoying as hell.
The horse fight was AWESOME and totally something I wanted in OoT.
The sword fight though was pretty annoying.

Still don't like Midna.

Overall 8/10.

Now that I've beaten it, I feel... Disappointed. For some reason.

I enjoyed it, I had a blast, great game. But for some reason that ending left me feeling disappointed.

Welp! Onto Tales of Symphonia!
...Maybe saturday, my wrists are KILLING ME after playing this.

I actually mean to play Tales of Symphonia on the PS3 soon. I just keep putting it off.

Decided to start playing Symphonia.

.........I died the VERY FIRST non-forced battle I was put in. The fuck, seriously?
3 Wolves, a bird and a bunny all kicked my ass faster than I could react.

I remember Symphonia having some kinda tough battles if you're not ready for them.. but not quite like that. >_>

So I started playing Tales of Symphonia Chronicles

and wow

what happened to the graphics. i recall this game looking better on gamecube but i don't know if that's just because it was like 10 years ago.

i also keep thinking i have mechanics from later tales games and i don't and it's very sad.

I also started on Hard Mode but backed off because I could tell that combined with going for a bunch of titles that I'm going for, it would make a good part of the game very unfun. I'll probably switch to Hard later on after those titles are out of the way and I can actually use Gels and let people be KO'd and actually change Lloyd's weapon from the starter one. >_>

The graphics were never as good as we remember them. Not that they're terrible, but they were never amazing.

That said, I love ToS and I always will. Steam version can't come soon enough.

I've played and beat exactly 2 Tales of games... Fan translated Phastasia on the SNES and Vesperia <_<

I plan to reboot ToS after I stop being angry at it.

I've played and beat... Symphonia, Symphonia 2, Abyss, Vesperia, Graces f, Xillia, and Xillia 2.

Symphonia definitely plays different from the others because of the lack of Free Run. I feel like I'm much more used to dodging attacks outright with it and I think I have to get in the mode of just guarding attacks instead. I'll probably be fighting my muscle memory the whole way though, can't tell you how many times I've acted like I had Free Run and pressed the button it would later be on. >_>

Well, if I want to be playing better at least.
