Yeah, Earthquake is the worst option and I don't have the stats but I have to think everything else is better than Struggle there.
I still think Zapdos wins, but if they can force Red to waste Full Restores (there's a limit, right?) that may be a victory. Or even if they don't if they can leave Zapdos in range of Gator finishing him off, that works too.
but i'm unashamedly rooting for red in every fight.

They managed to get three tries in roughly a day, so this is possible. Mt. Silver is really tough to get through without losing all their PP killing off Ursarings (he's hungry!). And now they won't even have democracy to help them anymore.

nonetheless, a awesome showdown. they had a powerful team, but the E4 this time was just nasty.
Now Pokémon FireRed? EVERYTHING IS RANDOM, INCLUDING STARTERS AND OUR STARTER IS A MACHOP WITH TRUANT AND GARY HAS A HORSEA WHO KICKED OUR ASSES.

Yeah, this is going to be a long one, but definitely amusing. Also: We fought mobs with Hyper Voice and Mega Punch. A Taillow with Megaton Punch early on against our machop and 2 shotted him. People were laughing their asses off.
EDIT: Turns out all the pokemon had their moves randomized, but only towards their respective species. So all Taillow apparently know Mega punch. this is amusing.
