Development duties have been split between UK-based Eurocom and US-based n-Space.

Eurocom has previously worked on James Bond titles during the franchise's time at E3, including the N64 title The World Is Not Enough.

GoldenTWINE? I'm sold.

I was reading about this the other day, and my only thought is... Why?
I mean, I loved Goldeneye back in the 90s, but... It hasn't aged well, and the remake would have to be rather drastically enhanced to make it good (And the fact that it is both Wii and DS, rather than one or the other doesn't sit too well with me).
But... I'm jumping to conclusions.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thought Goldeneye aged terribly. Yeah, not sure how I'd feel about this. I might be able to get behind this if it were pretty drastically changed (I'm mostly talking about how enemies react to damage, or rather how they don't) but then I could see people getting all angry if any significant changes were made and claiming it's no longer Goldeneye (which is silly, if you ask me, but I'm sure it'd happen.)

In all seriousness, this has like a 99% chance of being terrible. I wouldn't trust Activision to remake a jigsaw puzzle and...

(And the fact that it is both Wii and DS, rather than one or the other doesn't sit too well with me)

Yeah, this is just a huge blow to my optimism in general.

Not to mention the non-quality of the last attempted revival of Goldeneye...

>_>
A Goldeneye Remake was already completed for XBLA, but negotiations with Nintendo fell through, and the game was scrapped. Hence why we got Perfect Dark XBLA.

...I'm not normally one to do this, but that game looks, just visually, absolutely awful. I wonder if they were aiming for the "all our textures are just a solid color on a perfectly smooth surface" look, or if it sprang up accidentally? <_<

Yeah, the textures are pretty brutal.

Until I saw the character models, I thought the game was a port of the N64 version.
