Any recommended games?

I decided to grab a Genesis emulater, given that I was mainly into Nintendo as a kid.

Did have a gamegear, but... I skipped the genesis and such.

Sonic. Especially Sonic 2 and Knuckles and Sonic 3 and Knuckles.

Golden Axe (and it's sequels) were good games too and also the Streets of Rage games if you like that style of side-scroller beat 'em ups. Also TMNT The Hyperstone Heist. (It's not as good as Turtles in Time was for SNES personally, but it's not bad.)

Comix Zone was a pretty good game too it can just be randomly stupidly hard in certain places and again it follows the side-scroller type of thing. Still a good game.

Gunstar Heroes and Shining Force are also games I can recommend as well as Phantasy Star.

If I think of any more, I'll throw them in here too. >_>

I've played Golden Axe (I think) on the SNES, likewise I've played Sonic 2 on the 360 wtih their rerelease.

There's no way you played Golden Axe on the SNES since it was made directly by Sega. There were games like it, but Golden Axe itself was a Genesis exclusive and so were all of the sequels except for Beast Rider which was the 360/PS3 game and Golden Axe 3 which never saw an American release outside of the Wii Virtual Console (and the Sega Channel... holy fuck I forgot that thing existed, but it was an amazing concept for it's time and worked pretty well, honestly).

And yeah, I forgot about the Sonic games being released on 360. The rest of my picks still stand though.
