Seeing as there are like a thousand of the things now, what are your favorites divided by their generations?

Gen 1: Snorlax. He's my spirit animal and as much as I love Nidoking, I've used Snorlax in more games of all generations than maybe any other from the first gen.
Gen 2: Umbreon. This one was hard, since I also have a thing for Crobat and Kingdra, but again I've always tried to use Umbreon in my team.
Gen 3: Breloom. Probably the only grass type I've enjoyed using ever. I love the idea of a mushroom with tiny T-Rex arms that spring out when it punches. It's so random and awesome.
Gen 4: Gliscor. I would say Munchlax, but that's kind of cheating. Gliscor's design was something I always loved, then it got that hidden ability and became god like competitively.
Gen 5: Joltik. Because it's adorable. But seriously, I felt like this generation had the weakest pool and it seemed like they were running out of unique ideas.
Gen 6: Noivern. Basically the special attack dragon equivalent of Crobat. It's pretty solid and underused.
Gen 7: Ninetales. Alolan Ninetales is great, and is one of only three Alolan forms that doesn't look like crap. I would say Toxapex, but I rarely use it and have enough tanks as is, or Salazzle, who is also a strong special attacker, but I question how useful that ability actually is for something so frail defensively.

Advanced
Gen 1: Raichu. New to Pokemon, i always thought lightning pokemon were cool. I liked Pikachu back then, but i liked the powerful RAichu even more.
Gen 2: Typhlosion. Liked fire starters to begin with, but Typklosion had the magic and speed that i wanted outside of Charisard. Though i still think Charisard was cooler.
Gen 3: Never played this season, but i played it in Omega Red and i also liked Breloom. such a powerful grass type.
Gen 4: Floatsel. Loved how powerful his water attacks were in this game, and loved the speed. a great take-down type.
Gen 5: Never played this one either, but i found out Zoroark was born from here and i liked the idea of him disguising himself as one of your other teammates. also - evil fox.
Gen 6: Fennekin. Despite it's simplicity, i loved trying things out with him and was the only pokemon that i adored for it's design and fire wizard styled theme.
Gen 7: This one was the hardest. It boiled down eventually between Littens and Salazzle and eventually went with Littens. Littens has such an awesome diverse set of moves and i just love the Z-moves with this guy. did i mention he loves wrestling? And pretending to be a bad guy? however, Salazzle has one of the most amusing stories behind it's pokedex entries (She can seduce humans, people!) and the way she is drawn like a seductress in a way AND the fact she is a very powerful and very fast attacker makes me wonder sometimes how such an interesting design choice for her got in in the first place. =P
