| Level: 37 Advanced | That's fine. Lots of talk about it, anyway, so i'll just say it: Microsoft bought out Activision/Blizzard. Bobby Kotick is expected to leave once the transition is over. --- "Hey! I'm a nerd!" - Fenneko, Aggretsuko |

| Level: 49 Liberal Arts Major | And in the end, nothing will really change. Because unless you fire basically everyone at Blizzard, the actual lazy people who refuse to take criticism on their design choices (WoW team) working on the games are still the same people. +++ "I'm gonna make like a tree and fuck you!" - Deadite Cheryl Williams Ash vs Evil Dead PSN (Vita/PS4): Neroveras | Pokemon/Switch FC: SW-2558-9322-5899 | BattleTag: Indignation#1506 |

| Level: 37 Advanced | That's really hard to say at this point since it's clear management was the issue at the company. How this will fare in the future is anyone's guess, but I can't see Microsoft leaving WoW the way it is. That being said, though, i'm actually curious how they will tie this into XBOX Live. Not that i touch XBOX Live, but they will definitely attempt it somehow, or at least push OverWatch. --- "Hey! I'm a nerd!" - Fenneko, Aggretsuko |

| Level: 49 Liberal Arts Major | It really isn't that hard to say though. Management was too busy sexually harassing half the work force and threatening to kill their assistants to be causing the issues themselves, it was solely the development teams letting their games go to shit and refuting player feedback to the point of being assholes directly to people on Twitter for daring to question them. This is why WoW and even Overwatch somehow bled off so many people to Final Fantasy XIV over the past year. They literally could not accept how they were shooting themselves in the foot and kept digging the hole deeper. Blizzard as a whole is a cesspool even beyond the allegations. The only thing they've managed to do right in the past several years is literally just release Diablo 2 again. They even fucked up remastering Warcraft 3 during that time period so that in and of itself is kind of a miracle. They're not going to magically get better just because Microsoft now owns them unless they literally revamp the teams on top of it. Several people are way too comfortable with their jobs to the point of it affecting their ability to do said jobs. +++ "I'm gonna make like a tree and fuck you!" - Deadite Cheryl Williams Ash vs Evil Dead PSN (Vita/PS4): Neroveras | Pokemon/Switch FC: SW-2558-9322-5899 | BattleTag: Indignation#1506 |

| Level: 37 Advanced | It's actually is hard to say because we still got people that quit the company that defend Blizzard as a company, even if they point out the unpleasantness of the company over the scandals. I'm not trying to excuse Blizzard here - you nailed the problems on the head here they pretty much been doing over the years and been ignoring problems - but they were definitely not like this before the Activision merger. I remember. I'm only consolidating the idea that hopefully this will turn things around for the games over the years, however small that might be. I can't see Microsoft ignoring WoW's popularity and trying to see if they will find ways to improve it over the years, but then again, it might be beating a dead horse under new management. I hope it works out. --- "Hey! I'm a nerd!" - Fenneko, Aggretsuko |
