This game has been getting around a bit, but as people say, this game is looking VERY surreal. Judging from the previews, it's clearly Pokemon inspired, but it's a FPS tweeked to let you not only use guns and have your 'pals' use guns, but apparantly you can raise them to help you survive and make a farm, similar to ARC... or force them to do things against their will - like making you guns,
Although there's only trailers and it's stated to come out this year, the team has mentioned a few things, but this one takes the cake:
On your adventures in Palworld, you can befriend Pals and explore the vast world happily together.
You can sell them, butcher them to eat, give them hard labor, pillage, rob and exercise complete mayhem but this is completely up to the players to make adult decisions like these since the laws in this world prohibit such activities. Just don't get caught!
That being said, the gameplay does look amazing and i'm interested in seeing what kind of game this is shaping up to be.

It is exactly as I said in 2022, but here's the kicker: It not only has single player, but four player multiplayer and 32 player dedicated servers. Currently XBOX and Steam only. XBOX players luckily can play it for free on XBOX Pass.
This is actually pretty wild.
Judging from many of the trailers, it is actually more of a survival game (It is almost exactly like ARK as well from what i saw) but watching the trailers and one of the live players, this game is almost %100 PvE. They did mention PvP down the line, though.
All in all, i'm hyped. I think it's time to upgrade my computer to play this, though, because I didn't expect this game's system requirements to be so big.

It's not just because the game is far more open ended than Pokemon, but it's such a simple concept that was underused for so long you wonder why noone used it: Survival game with cute Pokemon-like monsters = good.
I had to order a new computer now, though. This game unfortunately hit the point where it lagged me down. Going to stick to single player until it arrives.

Currently i'm just trying to build the ultimate base so I can rack up so many bullets before I head out and hunt all the Pals, but I got nearly half of them in the game now. almost level 30 and got a Quivern, but can't fly it yet.
... and so far I haven't butchered anyone yet :D

All I need now is to reach max level and beat al the faction leaders and call it a day.
This game is definitely a keeper, though. Hope to play it again someday with more people.

The new Mercy ring feels so overpowered: Let your guns knock the pals down to just 1 HP. Don't need to use the crossbow so much anymore. Pals can have a passive called MErcy hit - same rules as the mercy ring, but on them.
