When/if it gets accepted, it will be up in the Saturday section.

As always, I welcome any comments/criticism.

When/if it gets accepted

As I'm sure you've figured out, you can accept articles yourself.

The lukewarm response is par for the course in the case of articles - TFN's article system is woefully neglected - but I do enjoy reading these. They remind of Television Without Pity for whatever reason.

I bought Golden Sun Part Deux to play while traveling to/around Europe when I went a few years back, but I never made it through the whole game, as I stopped playing when I got back. I did, however, read a walkthrough to see how the story ends. That was by far the best part of the series, followed by the gameplay and the grafix.

Yeah, but that sort of defeats the whole purpose, doesn't it? Though if I get the okay, I'll start doing it. >_>

There's no reason not to. The motivation for there being an acceptance process is threefold: one, to control for quality; two, to have a convenient place to edit articles after submission/acceptance; and three, to give an option to hide articles. Accepting your own articles, if you can, makes perfect sense.

It's the "control for quality" part that I'm referring to. <_< But I guess I'll start accepting my own articles now.

If you can't judge that for yourself, why are you an editor? >_>

I can judge it very easily for other people. My point is that it seems to defeat the purpose if I'm doing it for something I've written myself. <_< No way to stay impartial.

But, like I said, if you don't care, I'll start doing it anyway.

In my experience, writers are typically more critical of their own work. Unless they have tremendous egos.
