Here's the abstract I used: "This paper is a comment on one previous in this journal which explained the role of marginal entrepreneurs in Austrian Business Cycle theory. The discussion focuses on the effects these entrepreneurs may have on market structures themselves: to whit, on competition for labor. The effect on the labor market is first generalized to any form of competition/any market structure, noting the increases in production costs can drive businesses to abandon rational expectations. The paper then briefly considers the effect on monopolistic competition and traces out a few potential effects the distortions of the labor market may have on employment and consumption during a subsequent recession." The paper was, of course, rejected, which is why it appears here and not on my resum |
