| Level: 49 Liberal Arts Major | Specifically, ideas that meet the following two criteria: 1. They do not lead to behemoth-sized, 7,000-word mega-articles that make me regret writing about them in the first place. 2. They do not involve any more significant "research" than maybe a Wikipedia article. This is kind of laughable, but I actually do frequently use references of some sort so I have a vague awareness of what's going on, e.g. when I was writing the What Will They Learn? sort-of-series I frequently referred to the WWTL? website, various university catalogues, etc., and this tends to suck down a lot of time. The only things I can think of to write about fall very, very far from these two areas, which is why I didn't write anything last week. I think what I might do is write a longer series - kind of like the BCS series, but less thrown together at the last minute - and put it up when it's done. But of course, I'm open to suggestions from you guys. ___ ~ Ogordemir ~ "The sciences have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age." ~ H.P Lovecraft, The Call of Cthulhu |
