System Updates
- Cities and signposts have been added.
- The worldmap now identifies by color the location of a city. (Hint: it's gray.)
- Dungeons have been given names. (Though there's currently only one dungeon.)
- Edifices - in other words, buildings - have been added. There are I believe three currently in the game.
- "Artifacts" (undroppable items which either [a] have some special effect on the game system or [b] are relevant to some quest) have been added, along with artifacts.php, which tracks what artifacts are in currently your possession.
Story Updates
- The City of Seahome and its pirate problem is hereby given the privilege of starting out this game's storyline right. Or perhaps wrong. I'm not quite sure.
Content Updates
- The City of Seahome now covers much of the western side of the opening peninsula. It's very gray.
- Three quests have been added, all of which can be found in Seahome. These are kind of complicated, so I suggest you talk to everyone once, then talk to everyone again. All the information you need to complete the quests should be available in the city.
- Those of you who have beaten Manticore might want to check and see how his chamber is doing. Those who haven't might want to plan on beating him.
- New images have been added for the following monsters: Skeleton Ship, Shadow Sphere, Fiddling Crab, Man-o-War, Giant Crab, Turtle, and Great Blue Whale. Note that these images are even crappier than usual, as I had to use Paint to crop them and such, whereas normally I would use Photoshop. (Once I get Photoshop on this computer, I'll fix these images so that they might meet the usual standards of suckage.)
- Great Blue Whales have been moved to field 170. (Turtles were moved back to field 70 on Scorp's request.)
World Updates
- I've posted an advisory concerning broken area links. As most of these would be found in the Seahome area, I suggest perhaps you explorers out there point out where these problems occur.
Bug Updates
- Of the following fixes, none of them have been applied to PvP. I'll handle that next update.
- Wild Horses now targets your team as well.
- Widening Slash now works.
- Iron Defense now prevents all damage for one turn if cast by a Commander.
- Divine Feather now works.
- Speed is now correctly calculated in battle. (In theory.)
- Dying in a dungeon will now correctly send you to the dungeon entrance.
- Manticore no longer shows up in field three.
- Marutin's AI has been fixed.
- Stygian Rain now kills every Shadow Sphere, like it should.
- The equipment page is now in a table.
- The shop welcome screen options are now in a table.
- Item/spell descriptions now appear in items.php.
- The generic attack message now ends in an exclamation mark.
- The "You :: [People] :: Give :: Drop" bar in items.php now appears regardless of whether or not your allies are alive.
- The table in shop.php that lets you choose who to give the item to remains now appears regardless of whether or not your allies are alive.
- The "Attack" and "Defend" target menus are now aligned to the right.
- The "Questlog : Management : Scene Management" menu now appears above all other text in management.php. (In theory.)
- There is now a "?field=" value when returning to area.php after losing a battle or running.
- Manticore no longer devours you at the beginning of the battle if you have only one living character.
- Divert no longer affects ice-aligned spells.
Scheduled Updates
- There is, as you'll find out once you complete one of the quests, a "messaging" system in the works. The NPC-to-PC function should be done in the near future, but I don't think I'll do a PC-to-PC function anytime soon. You have PMs for that.
- Once I figure out how to adapt the crappy, foresightlessly-designed item system to a free market, I will establish a PC-to-PC trading system. Unfortunately, so far all my attempts have failed miserably.
- Simple novelty updates, such as a "remaining HP" bar for enemy monsters, will probably be included in the next update. There are still a few [complicated] bugs to fix, but unlike this update, the next one will most likely be system-centric rather than bug-centric. I'm going to have to put off any sort of large content update for the time being, but I'll make sure to add quests and perhaps items as I go along.

Earlier I told Scorp that it's impossible to kill GBW, as it runs 80-100% of the time once it has under 10,000 HP, so you'd have to be able to deal 10-20K damage in one turn to win for sure. I think you might just be able to do that. >_>
