| Level: 43 Editor | omg monsters Even more so than for my items, I'd appreciate criticism/fixes for these, since I haven't really gotten the hang of this "making creatures" thing yet. Especially the EXP/Gold rates, so I didn't even include those. =/ OCEAN CREATURES Name: Orca Stats: Same stats as the Great Blue Whale except: 30000 HP, and a LOT more ATK and MATK. Difficulty: The GBW can't kill you. Ever. <_< This can. Spells: Pillar Rain, Submerge, Get Away, Tidal Crash* Appears in: Some ocean area with up to two other Orcas. Behavior: Aggressive-Cowardly *Tidal Crash is like Pillar Rain, except it hits all enemies. Name: Armada Whale Stats: 50000 HP, 30000 SP, tons of ATK, MATK, MDEF, and SPD, decent DEF. Difficulty: Eats Poseidon for breakfast in everything except DEF. Spells: Tidal Crash, Submerge, Get Away, Summon Kraken, High Tide*, Low Tide*, Widespread Waterfall* Appears in: Same area as the Orca with up to two Orcas. Unique monster. Behavior: Aggressive *High Tide boosts the power of all "water" spells by a large amount if the field is Submerged. Low Tide severely weakens all non-water spells if the field is submerged. Widespread Waterfall is a powerful, Judgment-like water spell. SWAMP CREATURES Name: Wendigo Stats: 20000 HP, 20000 SP, decent ATK, high DEF, really high MATK, high MDEF, good SPD Difficulty: Somewhere between Marutin and Poseidon, I'd say. Maybe stronger than Poseidon, even. Spells: Hellfire, an assortment of Shaman spells, Cannibalize*, Rot*, Rend*, Windigo Psychosis* Appears in: The swamp area, always with two "Wendigo Men" (see next) Behavior: Aggressive-Smart *Cannibalize kills off one of the Wendigo Men to heal Wendigo X HP, where X is the sacrificed WM's current HP before being sacrificed. *Rot trades some amount of HP for a boost in all other stats (except SP). *Rend is a Berserk-like boosted damage attack. If it kills the target, Wendigo recruits a new Wendigo Man. *Windigo Psychosis is a buff Wendigo uses only on itself that drops its DEF, MATK, and MDEF all to 0 to boost its ATK by X (X = DEF + MATK + MDEF). It only uses this if it's already getting its ass kicked. Name: Wendigo Man Stats: 2500 HP, 1000 SP, low ATK, decent DEF, good MATK, good MDEF, good SPD Difficulty: I'm thinking a bit weaker than Marutin. Spells: Hellfire, Berserk, Windigo Psychosis Appears in: The swamp area (same field as Wendigo) with up to 2 other Wendigo Men. (So the possible set ups are 1 WM, 2 WM, 3 WM, or 2 WM and a Wendigo) Behavior: Aggressive-Smart The idea here is that Wendigo is a fair bit rarer than the Wendigo Man, so players are going "heheh, this seems like a good place to train, these Wendigo Men are easy pickings. Hmm, this one has a different name. Well, it can't be too much- OHSHI, THE WHOLE UNIVERSE IS GOING TO DIE" RANDOM CREATURE(S) Name: Zodiac Templar Stats: 30000 HP, 30000 SP, 2000 ATK, 2000 DEF, 2500 MATK, 1500 MATK, 700 SPD Difficulty: Eats Poseidon for breakfast. Spells: Berserk, Energy Cylinder, Heaven's Gate, Supernova*, Zodiac Judgment*, Internal Cosmos*, Planetary Shift**, Crash*** Appears in: Don't care. Appears alone. Unique monster. Drops: Drops the "____ of the Rooster" items at a rate of .01% for each. Behavior: Aggressive Notes: Might want to be outside the barrier. But then again, maybe not. *Supernova inflicts 95% of the target's current HP in damage to them. Zodiac Judgment is like Judgment, but the Templar heals half of the damage inflicted. Internal Cosmos fully restores all the caster's HP. (Remember that Blue Mageish class? Yeah, they probably shouldn't be allowed to learn any of these.) **I think Planetary Shift might be redundant on this, but eh. ***If it's put in at all. If not, ignore this and give it Smash instead. --- "There are times when destiny calls forth a people and demands an action. Now is the time. We are the people. This is our action. | Level: 49 Liberal Arts Major | Name: Orca Damn you, I was already going to make an orca the first dungeon boss as a little surprise. Now I'll have to make something else. *shakes fist* >_> And what's worse is that, with the exception to a couple of moves, our orcas are somewhat identical. >_> Difficulty: Eats Poseidon for breakfast in everything except DEF. An influx of critters stronger than Poseidon is leading me to believe a party system would be awesome. The idea here is that Wendigo is a fair bit rarer than the Wendigo Man, so players are going "heheh, this seems like a good place to train, these Wendigo Men are easy pickings. Hmm, this one has a different name. Well, it can't be too much- OHSHI, THE WHOLE UNIVERSE IS GOING TO DIE" In that case I should count Wendigo as an ambush or boss monster and prevent people from running. >_> Name: Zodiac Templar This fellow's on about the level of some of the story characters. That might be a bit much. >_> ___ ~ Ogordemir ~ Buddha promised me Nirvana and all I got was this lousy T-shirt. | Level: 49 Liberal Arts Major | I really don't think we need a bunch of creatures stronger than Poseidon right now. >_> That's about my only opinion really. Stronger than Marutin? Sure. Stronger than Poseidon, not so much. >_> +++ "Too much hope is the opposite of despair.. An overpowering love may consume you in the end." - Vincent Valentine |

An influx of critters stronger than Poseidon is leading me to believe a party system would be awesome. We have a party system. It's called "go to field 87 and make yourself some teammates". >_> In that case I should count Wendigo as an ambush or boss monster and prevent people from running. >_> ... Yes. This fellow's on about the level of some of the story characters. That might be a bit much. >_> Did the idea that he can completely annihilate most teams in one turn tip you off? <_< Or the fact that he's got, like, the top 5 most broken spells ever? >_> --- "There are times when destiny calls forth a people and demands an action. Or the fact that he's got, like, the top 5 most broken spells ever? >_> Nope, just his stats. >_> It's called "go to field 87 and make yourself some teammates". Not that sort of party system. >_> ___ ~ Ogordemir ~ Buddha promised me Nirvana and all I got was this lousy T-shirt.
