but in the future the shape of the sine graph, its significance, and other details will be manipulated by equipment.
Actually this is pretty asinine and verges on EVE online spreadsheet madness (though this isn't always an obstacle...), so it won't happen. The whole sine thing will probably stay because being able to calculate exactly what will happen at any given time is no fun!
I will also probably introduce some form of weapon/armor experience: i.e., swordsmanship, shielding, and so on, unless there are objections to this.

The new sort of ally in question is basically a clone of mounts. So... not really new.
I plan on having all of this done by version 3.0
