I'm gonna have to agree with xp about being able to remember past classes. Maybe not for weapons, but we should be able to learn spells from our old classes IMO. <_<

You can't do that. In order for a Weaver to go Cleric he has to do it before advancing through the Weaver class.

Dunno. It's very possible that the rest of my party was kicking ass so fast he just never got to his turn, and I only learned this when I told them all to defend to test it.
And even if other Necromancers can't remember past classes, Jade is an exception. He's that badass. Really. Play TotA if you don't believe me. >_>

Erm, no, not really. Especially because flavor-wise Necromancer and Cleric are about the most similar classes.
Picture a cleric in... I dunno, cleric school. He's studying, learns some white magic, promotes, gets into a battle against... I dunno, Winter Kraken, with his friend, Bashy the Warrior. The Kraken kills Bashy. Cleric-boy's healing isn't strong enough to revive his friend, and in his despair, he wanders into an old woman who promises to give him healing powers far beyond those of a cleric. He agrees, and in exchange for HIS MORTAL SOOOOOUUUUUL, he becomes a Necromancer. But he'd still know all his cleric spells; I mean, why wouldn't he? He might not USE them, but he'd KNOW them.
