| Level: 49 Liberal Arts Major | Because there are at least two ways: (A) Dragon Quest style (i.e., storyline advances itself somewhat through mandatory quests) (B) ROSE, WoW, other MMORPG style (i.e., storyline is secondary) So, which? ___ ~ Ogordemir ~ Buddha promised me Nirvana and all I got was this lousy T-shirt. | Level: 49 Liberal Arts Major | Depends on what you mean by B. I wouldn't mind if you made the storyline optional to participate in, but by no means does that mean make it secondary in priority when you're doing things/updating. I'm sort of against forcing people to participate in the storyline if they don't want to, but I'm also against the storyline taking a backseat to anything else in your priorities. --- xp1337: Your former local puppet admin. | Level: 43 Editor | Which one has the storyline advance itself through not mandatory quests that you can do in (almost) any order? Because that's what I vote. >_> --- "If I don't live diligently, I can't die. So I will fight. Even if... I have no chance of winning." ~Shinji Ikari, RE-TAKE |

| Level: 7 Provisional | For the overall storyline yeah, but for quests I don't think that's be so great. --- You suck! -Crowd Your mother taught me how! -Kurt Angle |

| Level: 43 Editor | OK. And storyline narratives are in novel form, correct? Yes, definitely. Although the storyline doesn't need to be fed to us, IMO, we could pick it up from various things said from NPCs and revealed during quests. --- "If I don't live diligently, I can't die. | Level: 49 Liberal Arts Major | Isn't it an inherent property of marquee to scroll? Yes, but it scrolls sideways, you see, and to find out how to make it scroll up and down I would have to do something like type "w3 marquee" into the address bar and scroll down and stuff. And that's too hard. ___ ~ Ogordemir ~ Buddha promised me Nirvana and all I got was this lousy T-shirt. "Democracy is the bludgeoning of the people, by the people, for the people." ~ Oscar Wilde |
