... but after being informed of TFN's Mobile site (*cough*Yes I actually use it for DSB related things <.<) I tried it on my PC, and, while less features, I couldn't help but notice it got certain other things -- right >.>

Other than the fact that every so often as of recent I find myself needing to reload TFN in another window (as it stops loading in my current one... For some reason) I have yet to experience that with M.TFN.

Oh -- and my topic-count is set to 20, which I see on M.TFN, but I always see like, 50 on regular TFN -- so I dunno if it's just me, but I thought I'd at least throw this out there.

<.<;

Oh yeah -- and like mentioned in some other topic, the how many times a topic has been viewed only works on M.TFN for me <.<

I've never heard of this problem. Get a better browser. >_>

so I dunno if it's just me, but I thought I'd at least throw this out there.

Don't know how to explain this one.

Or this one.

... So the thing put together quickly works better than the one being built up for years?

I don't understand, I'm responsible for both!

This is a frightening circumstance indeed.

I've never heard of this problem. Get a better browser. >_>

It happened to me once yesterday. I had to completely close out of Firefox and reopen it just so it would load right. It was only TFN doing it too. >_>

I have trouble ascribing blame to TFN when that's never happened to me and the only time Firefox isn't on is when I need to reset the memory leak. And I leave my computer on 24/7. >_>

Well, I don't know what caused it. I just blame TFN because it was the only thing doing it. >_>

Well, it's more justified than Salem was. <_< Nine times out of ten it really is TFN's fault. >_>

Well I've switched to running TFN through FireFox (was running with IE7 before) -- I guess it is better to use what the site was designed with <.<

The topic count and page-view things are still only M.TFN working, but that doesn't actually matter to this one >.>

Well, if Michael would give me FTP access *cough* *cough* >_> I could improve mobile TFN.

I can't log in on my cell phone, so that's why mobile TFN came into existence (that and making it look better on a cell's screen). My next plan was to bypass the login by having a systematic login typed into the post itself, and not though login.php. EX:

"username|password POST MESSAGE GOES HERE"

with the first part processed and removed.

But if it works for you, I can conclude that it's just shitty Sprint's browser's fault.

It was technically Scorp who suggested using FireFox with The Flux to me >.>

I still say wtf blame scorp. As thats kinda the secondary theme around here. We have two themes here.

1.Stuff doesn't always work like it should.

2. WTF BLAME SCORP.

Those are the theme's for TFN.

Nine times out of ten it really is TFN's fault. >_>

No, nine times out of ten it is the fault of some unexplainable phenomenon totally disconnected from TFN and anyone involved with the running of TFN. Only one time out of ten is it the fault of anybody involved with the running of TFN, and in those rare cases it's always Tiger's fault.

I am winnar!

You did basically nothing. The one major change you made had to be reversed because it destroyed the index.

The topic count and page-view things are still only M.TFN working

This needs to be fixed.

if Michael would give me FTP access *cough* *cough*

can i buy u lol

I can conclude that it's just shitty Sprint's browser's fault.

For convenience purposes, I'm going to conclude this, too.

It was technically Scorp who suggested using FireFox with The Flux to me... I guess it is better to use what the site was designed with <.<

Well, TFN is tested in both IE and FF (sometimes Opera, too, but only if I'm doing something where I'm sure I can't predict the results in that browser), but only a cursory examination is made of site performance in IE - just enough to see if it works at the bare minimum.

*looks at user level* ... You've just negated the fact that I can ever be blamed for anything involving TFN then. >_>

Not wanting to make a new topic, I was just wondering about the time on the board.

While the active clock in the index.php page is accurate, does the message board lack a Daylight Saving Time feature? I only ask since I am set to my timezone (GMT -5:00 Eastern) but at present the clock on the board is always an hour behind.

Michael, a long time ago in this thread: the only time Firefox isn't on is when I need to reset the memory leak

Go get a newer version of Firefox. I've had it running all day and it's only using 80MB.

And I don't notice any errors in TFN. None at all. Good job, Michael.
