A week ago we got a new member (who hasn't signed in for a week, like all upstanding TFN citizens): Lost Facts Police. I did a little digging, by which I mean I searched his signup e-mail on Google, and came up with Lost Facts, another GameFAQs spinoff. If you count that time we got hacked by some people via ns, this is the third brush with another spinoff we've had since TFN's return (the other was some fellow who asked me for my awful Sajax code).

I bring this up because Lost Facts has at least a couple of obvious features (last post in the board list, topic categories) that maybe you people would be interested in, who knows?

EDIT: You might also wish to peruse their suggestions board. Also, interesting to note that they use their shrines equivalent to determine levels there.

Last post in boards list seems marginally useful. I don't care for the topic categories thing, but that might be just because it looks hideous.

Also useful might be some LL/ETI-style "jump to page" links in topic lists. I agree about the categories business, in terms of appearance, but I think there's some value there on a conceptual level.

I think doing that is our default modus operandi as a GameFAQs spin-off.

This. And like I said before, if you've got a list of things "other forums have had for years", I'm all ears, folks.

I think the criticism is that we don't copy things fast enough.

I forgot to add that, because I'm the only one coding every aspect of TFN, nothing will ever get done fast.
