Since everyone has to be confirmed by an administrator and I am assuming the only people who sign up must know somebody here, PM an admin whenever one of your friends signs up so they know to activate their accounts.

Yeah, I saw there were accounts waiting there, but I wasn't sure what to do with them and figured I'd wait for you to handle them. >_>

Well, if someone had PM'd me like you said or mentioned it on one of the boards, I'd have done it! It's just... no one did, so I figured I'd let you handle it!

Yeah, I guess people don't really pay too much attention to the activation requirements here since nobody ever registers.

If people are wondering, by the way, registration requires activation in order to keep out spam, since there aren't any other anti-spam mechanisms on this board.

There's a board for a free UO server I play, their boards are under attack EVERY DAY from spam bots >_>

Their forums are up to 7.8k registered users. The bots manage to circumvent EVERY account registration security measure. (Which admittedly isn't much, just an e-mail confirmation and a capcha)

Edit:
Also, I had no idea there was a registration thing until my friend told me his account needed to be activated.
I never thought to message a mod >_>

Edit2:
...This actually explains why TFN hasn't gotten any random new members in a long time >_>

...Not really, I don't think. I mean, it's not like accounts get piled up waiting for activation or anything. Today was the first day in like... months that I've seen one waiting for activation. So, it's not like accounts just get stranded in an abyss of non-activation.

Specifically, you need to message an administrator. So... me, xp, Scorp, Burgess (lol).

Nope. Like xp said, we don't get any registration requests unless it's spam or somebody somebody else knows. We haven't gotten random new members because nobody but us knows this site exists.
