All Soldier stuff pretty much lowers speed. Plus, even without the speed lowering, I only put enough points into him to make it to 16 SPD. I went for a Tank Cleric since Bless almost always goes first anyway.
...No new armor for Clerics. >_>
Well, as stated before.. Mine is so uber thanks to two things.
The Items being unequipped and deleted, but the boosts staying. That ends up as me basically having two of those Cleric shields equipped. That's 60 DEF and 60 MDEF right there.
Then there's the fact since they had no offensive Magic early on and Lynx/Quistis did fine killing stuff themselves.. I was putting all stats into Def/MDEF. Plus there's the rest of his armor being doubled up too.
In short: Technically speaking, if you raise a Cleric this way.. They DON'T need anything.

I'm making armor for the Cleric class tree, but Clerics themselves seem to be pretty much set, thanks to the ridiculously long name shield. Should I make more stuff for them, or just move on to Steward/Matriarch?
