Liberal Arts Major
Purpose: A mostly-stable, early version of SS
Things You Should Know
1. Your characters will not be deleted. Nor will your items. I would like to, but you've all put in quite a bit of effort with them, so I shall avoid doing so.
2. There will be a new world. This world is predicted to be rather large, but it will most likely not be totally complete on Sunday - for instance, there might be the requisite thousand or so fields, but most of them will be empty. Or there might only be a few hundred. Or fitty.
3. There should be a worldmap. Maybe. I'm also planning on producing user shops and a "tavern" where you can keep excess allies and rotate the four you keep in your party. None of these updates are guaranteed, as the somewhat surprise debate tournament I have to attend the release weekend, coupled with my birthday on the release date, will both cut rather deeply into my testing and development time.
4. I plan on having at least three types of armor for every class in the basic class tree (i.e., Soldier -> Knight -> Commander, etc.), along with at least three weapons and five spells per class tree. Anything more is probably unrealistic.
5. Updates will no longer come in small chunks, but rather larger packets. The first update will probably be within a week or two of the game's release, containing Kenri and Scorp's items and spells. Unfortunately, I cannot devote the time I probably should to the game after Sunday, as I must begin to pursue my studies with more vigilance.
6. Kenri has offered to draw us some pictures. These will be added whenever they're done. I'll be adding pictures myself over time, and I invite any of you to submit images for your characters. Any submitted will be included in the same update that allows for player character images.
7. There is, regretably, no storyline in this release. I simply have not had time to produce one.
8. xp, Scorp, and MS will be given unique items to parallel Kenri's Spinless Ribbon. These will be announced once I think them up. >_>
9. If a copyright or some credit will be employed for this game, it will be "(c) 2006 The Flux Network". Anything else would be a lie.
EDIT - I was rushed to release the game on my deadline and failed to include a few things:
* Summoners+, Dragoons+, Clerics+, and Spiremages+ have been deprived of their new armor.
* Many classes have been deprived of new weapons.
* No spells have been added. Period.
* The world is hideously incomplete.
* No new things (the tavern etc.) have been implemented in the world. Well, except for the world itself. That's been... slightly altered.
* PvP still has not been fixed.
There will be an update tomorrow morning (most likely correcting armor and weapon problems, in addition to possibly PvP, but little else) and on Halloween, comprising the rest. I apologize for the delay - it was essentially unavoidable, if I were to avoid spending my birthday coding and/or if I were to get some sleep.

I want a sword named Grospolina that is equippable on all classes and gives a magic attack and attack boost of your choice. >.> If I listed that too, I'd make it +100 and +100.. Which would likely be too powerful, which well, let's just say that sword is technically completely broken in the anime it's from.

Not really.
I want my damn "Jade the Necromancer" class. With prior class memory, and spears as weapons... magic spears, that he forms with his mind. And magic, and Necromancer stuff, and Mystic Cage... and Indignation/Prism Sword/Absolute/Meteor Swarm
With that, I could honestly say **** the rest of my team, **** my levels, **** my stats, **** my items, and **** anything else I have in the game.

The one thing I hate is..
The damn Serpent in Gaia's Rock. He's not difficult exactly.. it's just that I had like no PP when I got in there and had to rely entirely on summons/djinni. Not just that, I don't use items, so I had no Water of Life or Herbs/Nuts/Vials/Potions. >_> However, Piers owned him like nobody's business after everyone else died.

I'm the kind of person who needs to go kill everyone, even the optional bosses. It took me a billion attempts to try to kill that Star Magician thing, and once I managed to finally do so, the plane landed in Boise and I stopped playing. >_>

I always carry Waters and those Phoenix Feather things (I think that's what they are), because I only bother to train to acceptable levels when I've beaten the game. My team was quite low-level the entire game.

I think I beat the final bosses of GS via spamming Judgment etc. It was quite easy, especially with Mia mindlessly healing everybody.
