It might - the cost is only 20. The formula is:

DAMAGE = CASTER_SPEED - CASTER_DEFENSE - DEFENDER_DEFENSE

...So it either sucks or doesn't. I personally find Stealth to be superior.

Not with a damage spell. All I do is set the value of the damage variable and the rest of the code will process it. They're really quite simple.

The formula is "previous required experience + (level * 100)" starting at 25, with level 2 and 3 halved. So:

2 - 25 + (200) = 225/2 = 112ish
3 - 225 + (300) = 525/2 = 260ish
4 - 525 + (400) = 925
5 - 925 + (500) = 1425

etc.

Level 4 also seems to be in the "Halved" category. I got it in somewhere in the 400s.

Level 5 is right where you put it though.

Yeah, I have a question.

Why do the Archers have next to Warrior defence (with nearly the same equip and NO stats allocated into defence) yet, Ninjas have like half of that (with the same equipment and no stats into defence)?

I mean if Ninjas start out with lower defence values, so should Archers. Archers should not have quite as close to Warrior defence technically speaking.

This is just me nit picking. >_>

Ninja spells deal more damage if their defense is lower. Speed > defense, in their case.

Warriors, likewise, are not defenders. They're crazy SOB's that run around hitting people over the head for pleasure. They have high attack stats and not very good defense. If anything, Archers have too little, if they're so close.

The attack-and-defend class is Soldier, with a little assistance from Pikemen and possibly Horsemen. They're the ones who wear the fancy armor.

Technically speaking, Warriors are usually tanks in RPGs with high HP moderately high attack and solid defence. The crazy ones who hit people are Barbarians. Soldiers just have balanced attack/defence. At least, that's the way it always is with the RPGs I play.
