| Level: 49 Liberal Arts Major | ... Pirate should be a whole seperate class. Like.. Maurader - Cutthroat - Corsair. Or something. I still find it odd that Warrior goes to Dragoon THEN Warlord though. You'd think a Dragoon would be the final stage. +++ "I'm weak to the finish 'cause AIDs beats me spinach, I'm Popeye the Dying Man.. *toot, toot, cough* - Popeye Drawn Together |

| Level: 49 Liberal Arts Major | I'm under the sway that a Warlord is somewhat superior to a Dragoon, despite the noble implications of the former. The Warrior class is a story of a barbarian who, once domesticated, retains his barbarian battle lust, and seeks to employ his newfound education in the realm of savage conquest. Or something. Anyway, the tentative Pirate tree is Pirate -> Captain -> Commodore. I liked Marauder enough to consider giving it its own tree. :\ ___ ~ Ogordemir ~ Buddha promised me Nirvana and all I got was this lousy T-shirt. | Level: 43 Editor | How does "Legend" sound retarded? My point is, why would a pirate become a commodore? That doesn't make any sense. That's like Cleric -> Priest -> Assassin. | Level: 49 Liberal Arts Major | Oh snap, I found some bugs. Now that I'm using Mother Kraken as my new EXP Farm, I ran into this after some time. It was able to DEF hax itself, I think with ink (Not submerged) and caused my character to go from damaging 44 to 0 over a few turns. Now, BM was out of MP, but I used Poison Dart, and started defending. It took out my team, but because it was stupid and didn't use MC when I had 20 HP, it died of posion. I got no Gold or EXP for the battle though. So, summary: 1. Unless that DEF hax is supposed to stack, MK was so cheating. 2. When you win by posion depeleting the enemy's HP, you get no Gold/EXP from the battle. --- xp1337: Your former local puppet admin. | Level: 49 Liberal Arts Major | I am aware of both issues. 1. It's supposed to stack. If you have a three-to-one advantage, in which one of those characters can possibly negate MK's spells, MK needs to have SOME sort of way to defend itself. Except it dies to poison. Meh. :\ 2. I wasn't sure this would matter, given that poison does only 3 damage a turn, but I suppose it does. Will fix now. ___ ~ Ogordemir ~ Buddha promised me Nirvana and all I got was this lousy T-shirt. Meh. :\ Yeah, but that still seemed like hax. It went like 44-20-10-0. And I was sad, because BM was out of SP and couldn't just Shock it to death. 2. I wasn't sure this would matter, given that poison does only 3 damage a turn, but I suppose it does. Will fix now. I don't blame you, I don't think I ever would have found that out if I wasn't stuck incapable of causing actual damage. Poisoning is generally a waste of time. I say generally because Swiftstrike seems to inflict poison, and Swiftstrike is cool. --- xp1337: Your former local puppet admin. | Level: 49 Liberal Arts Major | Yeah, but that still seemed like hax. It went like 44-20-10-0. And I was sad, because BM was out of SP and couldn't just Shock it to death. Hm. I might reduce it if the changes are so drastic... I don't blame you, I don't think I ever would have found that out if I wasn't stuck incapable of causing actual damage. Poisoning is generally a waste of time. Poison Dart is rather useless right now, but Toxicity, Poison Edge, and Poison Point, among others, will be far superior. Of course, I haven't quite added those yet... I say generally because Swiftstrike seems to inflict poison, and Swiftstrike is cool. It inflicts poison if the caster is a certain level. 10 or something. ___ ~ Ogordemir ~ Buddha promised me Nirvana and all I got was this lousy T-shirt. | Level: 49 Liberal Arts Major | It inflicts poison if the caster is a certain level. 10 or something. That'd explain it. My current levels are xp (Archer) - 16 Ninja (Ninja) - 13 Black Mage (Weaver) - 12 However, despite the levels, BM would annihilate Ninja. --- xp1337: Your former local puppet admin. | Level: 43 Editor | Cosmetic suggestions zomg. On the Nascent Drake's stat page, it says "Level 0 x". Where x is the Drake's level. I don't know what that 0 is doing there and if it's intentional or not. On that note, it would be nice although not at all necessary to be able to name your mounts. --- "I've seen her crying before.
