Once you class change, and are set to Level 1 of the new class (Marksman) in my case. It becomes very easy to level up, because the experience formula is again working off of the low level number.
So, it went from (all needed EXP, approximately) 2300 EXP, 2400 EXP, 100 EXP, 200 EXP.
Might be intentional, but just letting you know.

Hunter -> Slayer -> Executioner
Uses light armor (leather, maybe) and semi-ranged/melee weapons meant for quick kills (whips, rapiers, vorpal weapons, throwing axes, throwing daggers). Spells are generally effective only against monsters (not other humans/elves/spirits/orcs) and includes techniques such as Capturing enemies (removing them from combat), OHKOs, and various anti-stronger enemy spells (a better Counterdefend for Marutin, a spell that inflicts extra damage against Gods for Poseidon/any future God monsters).
Vigilante -> Hero -> Legend
Would use insanely powerful spells and weapons, however, the "curve" would be much greater than for any other class. Like, they get no weapons at all until they're Heroes and nothing good until they're level 25 Heroes. >_> Spells would be stuff like Judgment, Meteor, Holy (not necessarily these names, just that 'style' of spell). Weapons would be mythical swords like Excalibur, Durendal, Bulmung, Claiomh Solais, Hrunting, etc.
Exile -> Villain -> Demon
Would use powerful black magic and so forth. I only suggest this because I like the option of an evil/dark route in games.

I'll just toss it out there.
Say you go to an Advanced Class. Wizard, in this case. If you try to learn a spell from the Weaver Class - Incinerate, it tells you you must be Level 16.
However, since Wizard is in a sense L26 Weaver, you'd imagine it would be capable of learning it.
Furthermore, the part I can't test, is that even if I got to Level 16 as a Wizard, I'm thinking it would tell me I'm the wrong class.

Again, also to BM. His MATK dropped from what should be 106 (It was 75, but the Wizard Staff I equipped should have knocked it up to 106.) to 40.
However, this time I think I can come as close as possible to confirming the source as the double level-up thing. Otherwise, it's one heck of a coincidence.
My main character and BM leveled up off the same battle. (My character to L13 Marksman, BM to L25 Weaver).

It was a drop of 35 from the 75 I had as a Weaver with the Staff of Moderate Power.
It's possible I guess that it doesn't recognize the stat-bonus from the Wizard Staff and so it's not adding to my MATK Stat.
Aside from fitting with the numbers, my other reason for thinking this is that in the Item Screen, anything with an apostrophe, which to me is just the Levi's and Wizard's Staff, is rendered as "Wizard/'s Staff" or "Levi/'s", and when I click the name on the item screen, to display the pop-up with the info, it comes up blank. It shouldn't be an error with that function because it works normally for all my other equipment.
