I have made the best spell in the game. Bar none. This makes Judgment look like a joke.

Name: Triumphant Return
SP Cost: 25
Cost: 10,000
Level: 1
Tier: Paladin, Berserker
Targets: All enemies
Description: Alright chums, I'm back. Let's do this.
Effect: For each enemy, draws a random number between 0 and x (x being their current HP) and inflicts that much damage to them, then drops the caster's defense to -500 or so. Then has a 67.77% chance of OHKOing your entire team except the caster.

I'd be COMPLETELY for that, as long as the requirements extended so I could give it to Jade.

So, add Arcane Knight to the list!

Leeroy Jenkins has been, IIRC, copyrighted by WoW. So I'd say: avoid using the name directly. >_>

Well, it's in flavor for Paladins because Leeroy himself was a Paladin, and it's in flavor for Berserkers for obvious reasons. I think this is one time where we could say "screw flavor" and give it to Arcane Knights as well, but meh.

The spell itself is horrible. The only thing it's good for is flavor.

The spell isn't horrible. Random, yes. Horrible, no.

Vs Poseidon

Leeroy cast Triumphant Return! Ohmygodhejustranin!
Poseidon has taken 9999 damage!
Leeroy's team narrowly survived!
Other Guy attacked Poseidon, dealing 2 damage!
Poseidon was killed!

Granted that'll never happen, but still. <_<

It's horrible because that would never happen, and:

(1) Whoever cast that is dead.
(2) Half the time everyone else on your team is also dead.

Except that's probably not going to happen. Either the spell will get countered, or you'll die immediately following its execution.

For each enemy, draws a random number between 0 and x (x being their current HP) and inflicts that much damage to them. Then has a 67.77% chance of OHKOing your each given member of your team except the caster.

No more defense drop, and now roughly half your team will survive. >_>

Wow, this is harder than I thought. But I have 8 enemies, all of which may be completely not to your taste and/or severely unbalanced! >_>

C+P follows:

Since I don't have a good sense of stats, I'm using this rough tier list:

1st tier: Stuff that can barely damage a new character with no armor. Bass, salmon, etc.
2nd tier: Father Trout, Giant Squid/Octopus, Shark, etc.
3rd tier: The Krakens, mostly.
4th tier: Somewhere between Queen Kraken and Poseidon.
5th tier: Poseidon tier.

I'm also giving "development names" to new areas so I can refer to them easily.

Name: Island Turtle
Stats: Tankish - high HP, SP, DEF, and MDEF, fairly low everythinge else. A 4th tier monster
Spells: Defense oriented spells - stuff to boost defense, make it more survivey, etc. Some field manipulation and low level water spells.
Appears in: Alone or with another Island Turtle in "The Giant's Den"
Drops: 500 EXP, 600 Gold, Turtle (the Tamer's basic armor, if that class is created) (5% drop chance - by the time you're killing these, you've outgrown the armor >_>)

Name: Great Blue Whale
Stats: 20,000 HP, high SP, high MDEF, decent DEF, low ATK, MATK, and SPD. A tier 4.5 monster (tougher than Poseidon, but not as deadly).
Spells: Pillar Rain, Submerge, and Get Away
Appears in: Alone in "The Giant's Den"
Drops: 5,000 EXP, 0 Gold, Whale Meat (adds 5 Stat Points to your Stat pool when used) (2% drop)
Notes: This thing would, theoretically, have a high priority to "Get Away". Not sure if that's possible to implement, though.

Name: Corsair Underling
Stats: The rough stats of a level 15 Warrior with some decent equipment - I'd say 60/30/65/35/10/10/26 or so.
Spells: Recklessness, Berserk, Rage, possibly Douse
Appears in: Alone, with up to two other Corsair Underlings, with a Pirate Captain, or with a Pirate Captain and another Underling in "The Pirate's Cove"
Drops: I have no idea for Gold/EXP. Shouldn't drop much, though, because they're minions. Worn Cloth (5%), Big Stick (5%)

Name: Pirate Captain
Stats: The rough stats of a level 1 Dragoon with somewhat crummy equipment
Spells: Recklessness, Berserk, Rage, Skewer, Douse
Appears in: Alone, or with up to two Underlings in "The Pirate's Cove"
Drops: Roughly a 2:1 ratio of Gold:EXP, not sure how much this guy should be worth, though. Bastard Sword (3%)

Name: Man-o-War
Stats: A bit stronger than a Giant Squid, average stats all around-ish. A bit lower in DEF and HP. Tier 2.
Spells: Poison (whatever you want to call it, I don't think Dart works here), Douse
Appears in: With any combination of x Man-o-Wars and x Fiddling Crabs where x + y 3 or less, in "The Tide Pool"
Drops: 40 EXP, 40 Gold. Something that heals poison (10%)

Name: Fiddling Crab
Stats: All around decent-ish. Tier 3, weaker than the Mother Kraken but more annoying.
Spells: Negate, Divert, and so forth. It "fiddles" with your spells. Heheh eh.
Appears in: With any combination of x Man-o-Wars and x Fiddling Crabs where x + y 3 or less, in "The Tide Pool"
Drops: 60 EXP, 120 Gold. Drops Crab, the basic gloves for Tamers (10%)

Name: Giant Crab
Stats: A bit stronger than the Queen Kraken
Spells: Negate, Douse, Pillar Rain, Submerge, Berserker, Skewer, Bash, and some spell to the effect of "Flip Over" that costs 0 SP and drops its defense a bit until the end of battle.
Appears in: Alone in "The Tide Pool"
Drops: 120 EXP, 150 Gold. Drops Weak Point, an item that, when used, drops the target's defense by a bit until the end of battle. (10%)

Name: Skeleton Ship
Stats: A large amount stronger than Queen Kraken - 1000 or so HP, high ATK and SPD, low DEF, MATK, and MDEF.
Spells: St. Elmo's Fire, basically a more in-flavor version of Constrict. Nothing fancy, maybe a chance to deduct some SP too.
Appears in: Alone in "The Gray Sea"
Drops: 200 EXP, 300 Gold. Maybe a low chance of dropping one of the "gun" weapons.

I'll let someone else (Scorpion) handle the far stronger enemies. >_>

Not sure if that's possible to implement, though.

Actually, a more detailed analysis of behavior would be fine - preferred, actually, now that I have to hard-code the AI.

And, why don't y'all describe the theoretical location of all these things? An island dislocated from the mainland, perhaps?

I personally don't because I just alter the URL anyway. >_>; So area 10394 in the middle of no where is basically the same as area 2. But I'll make a note to start including this.

Yeah, I alter the URL just like Kenri. Too much clicking otherwise. However, the Manticore and Albacore field must be 316. Because I said so. <_<

Anyway, here's a small list of "planned" monsters I be makin' eventually. I'll add some notes next to some that I feel warrant it.

Iron Golem

Vampire

Vampire Lord

Werewolf

Alpha Lycan (Because Alpha Werewolf sounds stupid. And needlessly long.)

Undead Swordsman

Undead Paladin (This is what happens when Divine Feather goes wrong. >_>)

Little Bastard (Evil little leprechaun enemies. Drop a ton of gold, but likes to run away and have a technique called "Ripper" that hits ten times on one person. Did I mention they have high attack power? That's why they're bastards. More to come eventually.)

Fire Bird (Drops a ton of EXP if you can kill it. Has extremely high HP, and decent stats. Despite it's HP it's not "hard", but will take a while to successfully kill.)

Small Cat? (It's first move will always be "Meow" which summons a Hell Cat. If it's killed you get no reward. The Hell Cat gives you the reward.)

Hell Cat (It's big. It's on fire. It's really pissed off. You're so screwed.)

Also, I'd like to ask a question. Can you do added effects from certain attacks, Ogor? Like say, if you hit the Hell Cat with Attack could you make the person receive extra damage from a burn? I don't mean like multi turn burning.. just like 30 damage for hitting the cat since it's on fire.

Yes, but most likely that would be in enchantment form, so Purify can solve all your problems.

Well, in enchantment form, sure. I just meant you always take damage when you hit it no matter what unless your offense was of the spell or distance variety. It would make the battle more interesting that way. >_> But, if that can't be done that's okay. It was just an idea.

Island Turtle - The Island Turtle's basic behavior would be: 1) Submerge, 2) Stay alive, 3) attack. It would be one of the "cat's game" monsters, much like Giant Squids for weaker players, you can't kill it thanks to it boosting its defense, but it can't do much to you.

Great Blue Whale - Like I said, it would want to Get Away ASAP, and moreso if damaged. Almost never uses the basic attack, but it should use Pillar Rain and/or Submerge occasionally.

Corsair Underling - Berserkers, really. Immediately extinguish all their SP using their Warrior spells, then attack you normally. Almost never go on the defensive.

Pirate Captain - Somewhat smarter than the Underlings about conserving SP, but pretty similar otherwise.

Man-o-War - High priority to poison you ASAP. Then it just acts like any normal enemy.

Fiddling Crab - If possible, will ALWAYS mess with your spells. When it no longer can, it starts defending and attacking normally.

Giant Crab - The thought patterns of the Giant Crab: "HAHA, PUNY MEN TRY HURT ME. ME SQUISH PUNY MEN. SQUISH. SQUISH. LOL WATE I MESS UP AND FALL OVER, PUNY MEN ATTACK WEAK POINT. MASSIVE DAMAGE HURTS."

Skeleton Ship - Whatever you used for Queen Kraken. <_< If it ain't broke...

...No. And here's why.

The power boosts on their armors more than make up for the 55 points their best weapon doesn't have in comparison to the Paladin and Necromancer bests. Now, if I do make something.. it'll be in the future when other classes need stuff too. >_> However, considering the Warlord's best armor/weapon set up gives you: 80 + 30 + 35 + 15 + 15 = 175 + 145 = 320 just off it's weapon and armor sets, I must say No. Not right now.
