And Warriors actually have leaps. Soldiers have... a Short Sword. That's it.
I said equally needing work. As in, both still need work.
BM was in the infinitely superior Weaver Class. Also, you won't be able to take MK at Level 5... not consistently at least.
Spellbinders still have Shock and can have rather good Magic Attack. I do not see where that is "infinitely superior".
Second, I'm not level 5. My summoner is, and he's consistantly alive after every fight and is still having trouble leveling. My level 8 characters seem to level faster than he does.

Second, I'm not level 5. My summoner is, and he's consistantly alive after every fight and is still having trouble leveling. My level 8 characters seem to level faster than he does.
Probably the infamous Level 5 Barrier I keep mentioning.
The gap between Level 4 and Level 5 is larger than the gaps around it. It's because Ogor halved the requirements to level up on 2-4, and at 5 it goes back to normal. It's easier to go 5 to 6 than 4 to 5.

Apparently it's not easier to go 5 to 6 if I'm having more trouble with that than I did 4 to 5.

The actual EXP gap is larger from 4 to 5 than it is for 5 to 6.

It might be, but that doesn't change the fact it wasn't going for the longest time. That was the point I was trying to make to begin with. I didn't notice that problem with 5 to 6 on my other characters, but it happened on my Summoner this time through. I got level 6 a minute ago, but it did take quite a bit longer than it should have.

Stats:
My Team - Jade (Soldier), Tear (Cleric), Natalia (Archer) all need 8 levels worth of HP/SP upgrades, and 19 levels worth of any other stats. Luke (Soldier) would only need 17 levels of other stats and no HP/SP.
