| Level: 49 Liberal Arts Major | I found this on my hard drive and thought I would share it with you. Because I'm bored. This is MY history on GameFAQs, although I'm not quite sure I remember all of it. I originally found the site when I was looking for cheats on Magi-Nation. More specifically, I wanted a Thunder Hyren goddamnit. So, using my 1337 AOL skillz, I punched in "Magi-Nation" and clicked 'search'. Well, around that time, MN was essentially a video game only, so it didn't take long for me to find a list of crap. I did, however, find GameFAQs and was awed by the 1337ness of its crap. I never did get a Thunder Hyren though. After looking at the FAQs for MN, I stopped in to check the message board. I had never been to an online message board before, and this interested me, because it had people fighting each other, RPG-style, with Magi-Nation characters. After a while, I became a regular, accountless lurker (remember, I was 11), when Dragon Warrior III came out. Naturally, I went and used the FAQs to cheat my ass off. I took teams off the Board and used elements from them, found gliches, etc. But I longed to make a post. Then, on October 19th, 2001, I made an account; one week before my thirteenth birthday. I had been lurking for a Hell of a long time. The account name was originally supposed to be Orgodemir99, after my favorite character from Dragon Warrior Monsters II, but as I didn't own the game and the only place I took the name from was a walkthrough for it that I found at Fred Meyer, I spelled it wrong. The '99' came from God knows where. My first topic ever was asking what happens when you get all the Gold Medals. NoEscape responded first, telling me to find them myself, and also calling me a n00b. I happily told him that I had beaten the friggin' game several times and had been lurking around here but hadn't seen any definite proof of anything, and he apologized and informed me that nothing happened and that it was a waste of time. I quickly began making idiot topics based on nothing in particular, my favorite being "Ask a Stupid Question, Get a Stupid Answer." My first AaSQGaSA turned into a Star Wars battle... Thing, which culminated in my deleting all of my posts after Noe accused me of flooding the board. >_> <_< Then, October 26th (I know because we were moving and my parents gave me my birthday present early) I got DWMII and shortly later made a post in the board asking for something or other. They flamed me for mispelling my name. Ironically, that's the first time I noticed that, but I pronounced other DWM names differently than they were written anyway. Eventually, I grew in popularity, become known mainly for off-topic posting that got by without being modded. Except once. I also visited the CCG board a few times, d/led Apprentice, and proceeded to lose every game I played against Krelian. YGO was on TV now, and I took a liking to it, whereupon DDS was released, and I trecked over to the board. But one day the link to the YSB caught my eyes. The YSB at this time was 99% YGO. I kind of lurked for awhile, and can't remember too much, except for becoming quite the expert on the game. Early 2003 - or was it 2002? - I took a three-month break from GameFAQs altogether in order to persue... Other interests. When I returned, I'm not quite sure what had happened. During the kuribohgirl Hell period, I signed up my friend, RainHawk11. He and I began Legions of Stormgald, which I took from him so that it wouldn't die a miserable death. Afterwards, LegendBEWD and I began producing a few RPG's. They went quite well, although I wasn't that widely recognized. During this time I also made Lord of Ages and Lord of Angmar, which I used as flaming accounts. Throughout my stay, I had been great friends with ns1987, and had worked on all of his sites as a deck builder and article writer, starting with my Toon Deck. Funny thing is, I was asked to join his staff after my Deck Showcase of Deck Destruction, which I never made into an article. Shortly before my initial banning, I had submitted an incredible amount of decks in for ns' site at the time, Warrior Shrine. In response, he made a topic praising my 1337ness. This eventually turned into me claiming to be Antichrist, someone killing me, me claiming to have been resurrected, and me appointing TheDarkshineKnight as my False Prophet. ns, wanting in on the action, declared himself God, and we made an alliance. Hense, the YSB Trinity was born, and was accepted by several people (meaning no one). It was basically useless. The only exact thing I remember was asking my now-girlfriend on AIM to fetch a Bible for me and find quotes from Revelation that I could use. Sacred Solar, Nikore, and Nas were then chosen to be a second Trinity. Then came my banning. I forgot why, but I was modded for saying that Nicolae Coa - oh Hell, I'm not in the mood to try to spell Romanian last names. Anyway, I said that the former dictator of Romania was a ******. I got modded. I also got mad, and made a topic protesting it. Eventually, I got to the German Furor and his mental health, and had a nice little argument with Raptor about it all. Sadly, Shiv and I censor bypassed, although I said both **** and **** on Lord of Angmar, which was suspended, along with Ogordemir99. I still don't think that was entirely fair, as Shiv got away with a warning, but I guess it was mod-baiting. The argument claimed those and several other accounts. After that, I was pretty much screwed, with only Lord of Ages and 7 karma. I decided to just leave until I had more karma. I did, however, meet a lot of resistence, most notably from Shiv and Ace, where Ace gave me White City Walls. The whole fiasco ended up with several vets leaving for a short while, and some other people getting banned. As for my relationship with Nikore, it's safe to say I was his lackey. We even sigged each other in one topic, where I said that I never got sigged, and he told me to just ask people to sig me. I did that, by saying "somebody sig that!" I ended up having Nikore sig " that!" I mirrored his move and sigged "OK!" Unlike a lot of people, I guess I was pretty sad to see the bastard go. When Hungry Jack rolled by, I dutifully followed Ramza and the like into CCGN, where I came closer to Sacred Solar. I think she was one of my favorite users ever, especially since I beat her beatdown deck with my truly sad, 90% common Japanese deck on my first try, with only a 1700 attacker and an Umi/Tornado Wall combo. It was... Scary. I also took a liking to Loki, and was genuinely concerned when I heard she had attempted suicide later on. This coming from someone who has immense difficulty showing any sort of emotion. I was never considered popular in my eyes. rarely sigged, rarely mentioned, etc., but then I became more aggressive, starting with xp's mirror to the Temp topic. I was sigged.. A lot. Eventually, during UCXII, I began Odyssey, after coming up with the idea in PE class. This boosted my popularity by three ranks in UCXIII. I also got WCW banned by posting that I was thirteen manipulating the dates. Although, I did say I was fourteen in my sig. Oh well. xp said it was mod-baiting, so I'll listen to him. Recently, I decided to make Ogordemir II, and with it I posted the final chapter of Odyssey, a testament to the fact that I posted the final chapter of Odyssey. Anyone who remembers when I posted that gets a cookie. Also, has anyone on the YSB bothered with the UC's anymore? ___ ~ Ogordemir ~ Buddha promised me Nirvana and all I got was this lousy T-shirt.
