Rita is completely crazy, though. Absolutely nuts. I'm pretty sure I didn't take any damage in that battle and ended it in like a minute while using Rita.
Rita is quite possibly the most broken character in any of the Tales games I've played.
"I'm so gonna-BLAH BLAH BLAH! TIDAL WAVE!"
It's like an instant win.
Removing cast time with overlimit just turns Rita into a monster, you can go into overlimit, and cast enough spells so that the overlimit gauge is full again before the original OL runs out.

This is why I wanted to get it while I'm playing on Normal.
The tragic, yet hilarious (for me), part of this, is that if you want the title for doing all the Secret Missions, you have to do all of them in one playthrough. So it's not like you could go New Game+ and only do the ones you missed, you have to do all of them on one run.

It is for Tidal Wave, and I think a few of the other high-tier spells. Other ones have different shortened versions though, IIRC.

Hell no. <_< I figured one of these scenes had to be it, so I went to Capua Torim and... nope. No scene. Huh.

Yeah, I was going to tell you this. It occurred to me that technically it becomes available right before Zaude, but yeah.

While it's on my mind...
Go back to Ehmead Hill and, if you're coming from the Capua Nor side, go up off the road onto the path you took when you actually came through here, and then go east and north into what looks like a dead end, should get a scene. Involves flowers, in case you got it last time you came.
Then, go to Mt. Temza and advance a bit, you should hit another scene.
After that, go to Capua Torim and you should get another scene there. After that, head to Zaude where you fought Yeager.

Not too important, but also might as well go to Heliord and talk to the shopkeeper there.
Also, to Dahngrest, and talk to the barkeep in the west pub, you should get something and it should be obvious where to go for that.
Bunch of other stuff, but those are probably the more important ones. Maybe add to that to go back to Myorzo and talk to a kid there who gives you a minigame. I think you get rewards at Level 3 and Level 5 clears.

I usually field Yuri/Estelle/Rita/Karol, yeah. Sometimes swap out Rita for Judith if I want to kill weaker enemies quicker. 3 casters just isn't my cup of tea, even 2 is pushing it in battles where I don't require healing. Raven's Red Mageness makes him useful when I'm missing Rita or Estelle, but when I have them... Eh. I also don't like Raven as much as you do. >_>

What's her thing in the strategy for TP on? Because if it's like "Use 25%", she's going to stop anything that involves using TP (which means no healing) the second she goes under 75% of her max TP except in what the AI deems "emergencies", in which case it will start using healing artes, only, by the time the AI has deemed it an emergency, it's usually too late for it to do anything in time to be useful.

It SHOULD still be on "use 75%", which she's usually not even close to when this happens, but you're right, that would explain it, so I should check and make sure it wasn't changed by mistake. Though like I said, she uses Angel Ring/Photon/etc (when they're On), she just doesn't like to heal. >_>

I mean, for long time I was wondering when this was going to happen, but then I gave up on it. Like 20 in-game hours ago. No way this is permanent.

-Whoa. They built a whole city in, like, a day. I mean, it's no Rome, but it'll do.

-Wow, this boss fight is really annoying. It would be nice if, you know, they let me leave to build up my Overlimit or something, but no, apparently that isn't allowed here.
-...why is the vs. Flynn music from SA2? It's like a mix of For True Story and Rhythm And Balance.
-Apparently I've lost the ability to actually use my Mystic Arte. Yes, Special is on. Yes, I'm holding B after using a Burst Arte. Hm.
-Okay so FINALLY got that. I figured it had to do with Mystic Artes since I couldn't find anything else, but then I finally managed to use one and it gave me a special scene but no Great!, and then I got a Great! later when Flynn used Guardian Field. >_>; So I guess I was supposed to let him use every arte. Stupid.
-"I can't even win with a sword anymore." "Heheheh... (Loser.)"

-...This is so far beyond disturbing, it's looped around into hot and then back into disturbing again.

-At first I thought they were naming the town Aurion. I was going to make a comment like, "Aurion? Pfft. Wilder is a much better name for a town". But it's actually Aurnion, so... uh...
-Tarqaron looks confusing, but it's been sorta linear so far, even more so than the other dungeons. >_>

I can't believe the party keeps letting him do this. It is... foreign to me. I'm pretty sure Estelle should be saying something like "Why do you keep attacking us?! Can't we work together? Can't we be friends? There's still hope, don't throw your life away!" and then the villain will be forced to say something like "Ha... ha... Redemption... Sorry... it's far too late... for someone like me. Goodbye..." and then he takes his own life because HEROES DO NOT KILL PEOPLE. They merely maim them and then make no effort to prevent them from committing suicide.

My point is that Yuri kicks ass.
Though I'd sorta like at least a courtesy "spare him/FINISH HIM" choice for situations like this, even if "spare him" leads to him dying anyway. I mean... just to be polite. And because I always play a complete goody-goody in games like that.
-Didn't nab the secret mission. I gave it a shot, then looked it up, then gave it another shot, and uh... nope. And then I said screw it. Zagi can take his secret mission and shove it.
-Oh my god. The enemies here lag the game. So much.
-I, uh... couldn't figure out the next area with the shifting platforms. <_<; And then The Daily Show came on, so I backtracked to the pre-Zagi savepoint and stopped there.
