Currently Grade farming so I can buy the Grade Shop goodies. Only have 4.4k grade so far. Got a 2,000 hit combo in the process of grade farming XD
The grade item I want the most is the All Skits option >_>
I love those so fucking much and want to see them ALL. I missed out on A LOT of them.
Roughly half way through the game, I ditched using Yuri for Rita. Because the AI sucks so much ass using Mages >_>

Rita definitely sucks unless you either 1) play as her yourself or 2) turn off all but one spell. For my first game (Normal difficulty), I used only Fireball. At 3000 uses, she was firing 10 Fireballs with each cast and dealing way more damage than any other spell. And it became really difficult to dodge. And a couple skills I gave her made each hit possibly a critical, and possibly a stun. For Unknown difficulty I started using Tidal Wave only, because it's way more important to keep enemies locked for a few seconds than do extra damage.
In either case, if you just let Rita cast whatever she wants, she'll suck. <_<

Well, you can pick up on some of that from the credits sequence. But yes, it would have been nice to have something definitive.

Other then Fireball (For single targets), I've ONLY used Tidal Wave and Meteor Swarm. Meteor Swarm is fucking RAPE if you spam it and use Tidal Wave lock.
I used that tactic against the final boss. I got 200k damage chain at only 50 hits >_>
Meteor, Meteor, Tidal Wave. Rinse, repeat, rape.
These are the reasons why I switched to using her. She's waaaaaay more fun to play as anyway.
Plus. The AI can use Yuri better then I can. >_>

Unlike Estelle, she only does that for me if her TP gets really low. And when she was on Fireballs only, her TP never dropped below, like, 90%.
Although, I also gave her a skill called... Liner Shot or something like that. It converts her basic melee attack into a ranged attack. So that helped a bit too.

No, they were all stuff that happened afterwards. Like one of them showed Yuri in the Lower Quarter, pumping water to the fountain without using a blastia. <_< However, don't expect any conclusive answers for any of the big questions.

Setting was on full TP usage, yet with max TP she'd love to run up and smack the crap out of the enemy, only for it to turn around an OHKO her most cases.

I did it on easy and he RAPED me. Fucker chose to use his Mystic Arte while all my characters were in close proximity... And then followed up with an ability which raped them all ._.
He did that TWICE :(
After managing to beat him the third time (Treat and Specific = GOD ITEMS) and unlocking the Fel Arms, jesus christ.
The Fel Arms are raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaape.
Yuri's boosts his patk to 2.6k o_o

[Spoiler for Ex Dungeon, click to show]It took over a combined total of about 6 hours to get the Fake Gald needed to fight the final boss. -_-
I set it on Hard and beat him easily :/
Level 90 Rita + over powered Fel Arm + Over limit + Meteor Storm = HAXD.
Then I went on to do the 200 man melee challenge, on Normal difficulty and beat it. That was sooooooo fucking fun!
This time I used Tidal Wave spam >_>
Nice to see that they threw in some old characters from past tales games. I don't know what game the Queen of Sorrow, or the Killer Of Heroes are from, but the Time Traveler was SO obviously Dhaos from Phantasia >_>

[That boss] wasn't really hard, the only thing that was kind of difficult was getting him to use his Mystic Arte enough so that he would stagger long enough for me to hit him
And who gives a shit about damage, it's all about the combos. Hell, I usually take off skills that increase damage if I can get some sweet Combo Plus and Super Chain skills going. Also Light Magic for Rita <_<

Anyway, I agree that he's not hard, but the ToV board on GameFAQs does not. So yeah.
Also combos don't matter at all. <_< They're for bragging rights and GRADE farming, and for keeping Unknown difficulty enemies from kicking your ass. On Normal difficulty I'll take damage over combos ever single time.

besides, I'm pretty sure everyone who is going to play the game on this board has played it already
and Normal mode is fucking easy anyway, I'll have to play Hard mode next time just to give normal enemies some challenge and some more HP so they don't die in a few hits
Plus, it's all about the Grade. Doesn't matter if you're farming or not, I want more Grade.
