Or rather... this topic.

For some reason I thought we were in another topic.

Yes, I am. You should be able to control basic emotions; that should NOT have pissed you off.

Oh, it didn't piss me off, because I don't respect your opinion enough to give it that power, however, it was without doubt posted solely for that reason, which is the definition of trolling.

=)

I side with Kenri on one thing and xp on another. First, xp should not have deleted so quickly what he thought to be a troll, both because this place is far more lenient than GameFAQs (or should be), and because xp should not use his power for personal reasons. I do, however, side with xp on the fact that Kenri should attempt to avoid inciting annoying arguments with xp.

Remember that, you two.

I do, however, side with xp on the fact that Kenri should attempt to avoid inciting annoying arguments with xp.

Would be easier if xp got over his huge bias against me, where everything I say has to be broken down and disagreed with solely on the principle that I said it. I also think we can agree that when xp is like this, he is virtually impossible to NOT piss off - I know that you've been on the receiving end of his moodiness in the past.

That said, "Cheer up, emo kid" is a meme, and should not annoy ANYONE, anymore than calling them a "n00b" should. And we all know that calling someone a n00b means absolutely nothing.

I'd like to point out that this is NOT the first time xp has randomly attacked me here. There are at least two other times I can remember, during both of which he was the first to use mod powerz in response to an argument.

It seems to me like the solution here is to put me back to level 44 (I don't feel right saying 47 as I never earned that anyway) and leave xp where he is until he decides to stop starting mod wars. But then, that's my opinion.

Possibly de-mod Mega Sonic too. <.<

Oh, by the way, trolling by definition involves intentionally attempting to annoy and/or offend multiple people. Otherwise it's flaming.

That would be one of the things I just mentioned, Ogor. All that really amounts to is adding a digit to their modded messages count on their userpage, which can easily be overturned by someone else. >_>

This whole "handle the power" thing is almost as humorous as the entirety of last night. Not quite though, because last night was so much damn fun. =)

The only benefit there is from being a mod, and the only real useful thing it had going for it, was that bar at the top that told you how many were online, and showed who if you hovered the mouse on it.

Maybe back in 2004, or when I reversed Nick's "hack" attempt on TFN.

Even if I'm in the wrong on this, it certainly doesn't qualify as "crazy".

Tiger's attempted coup was crazy. At worst I'm just unstable at times.

Crazy was whoever made me moderator when I first came here.

That was probably NS. I dont remember, but I remember getting banned a whole lot in the space of a day.

Im sure you all remember my original argument regarding moderators when it first kicked off like, 2 years ago.

I stand by that. Irrelevant is me though.

I only remember a few things out of TFN's past: it's creation, a few moves, my argument with xp, and its demise.

Oh, I have no doubt it was annoying.

I'm not arguing to be a mod again, because for one thing - it's pointless (though I do like that bar), I'm merely stating my side.

It isnt dead yet.

Just.

My argument was (here we go, this is going to cause a row) that for the amount of people here, you have waaaaaaaay to many moderators. I compared this place to the original wF, and how even at the height of its popularity, it only had 1 admin and 2 mods, and apart from the rare occasions when none of them were on (8/8 2 years running, hehehe) wF was pretty much spotlessly ran by the staff. I also questioned the competency of most of the moderators (this probably developed into me taking the piss out of them all, which probably got me banned) because the amount of 'power' related drama that goes on here is worse than in fucking thailand at the height of a military coup.

My suggestion was, pick 2 mods that can actually mod, kill all the crazy mod levels (that was never a good idea) and actually sort out the normal user levels. Of course, the people who get de modded are going to bitch, but if you leave a forum over the fact that you dont get to me a mod, then you werent really worth having here in the first place.

Of course, nobody liked this argument because nobody really knows me, and I shouldnt really have a say in things.

Winner is me.

Actually, nobody (read: me) likes that argument because this place has less than 10 regular users now. Being a moderator means absolutely nothing, except that you can screw with other people's posts, which is something a few of us should probably not be permitted to do. When and if this site has any popularity at all, and being a mod means something, I will probably reduce the numbers, most likely leaving Kenri and Burgess (and maybe - GASP! - xp) as the only moderators.

Also, Special people can now view the nifty bar on top of the screen, and edit the moderator notepad.
