I assume then this pertains to something from waaaaaay back in history. This gives us a few possible events dealing with domain names:
- TFN's original construction.
- The move to Gensou.
- The move to an OOP-based board.
- The moves back from those respective places.
- Other possible moves I may have forgotten.
Given that TFN was originally located at the rather confusing www.thefluxnet.com, I'm going to take a guess and say that's what the quote deals with. This rules out myself, ns, Protodude, and Cross (on the assumption that they were informed of the domain name's identity early on, especially given that they were supposed to have a stake in the website) in addition to latecomers such as Scorp. The earliest other members of TFN that I can still find in the database are, in order:

+ Tiger
+ Epsilon
+ Xorac22 (whoever he is)

Taken one by one:
xp A possibility. xp's writing style fits, as does his attitude.
Atticus Finch (YSB's Shivan Dragon) Doubtful. I don't recall Shivan being confused at all.
Knight (some troll) Not intelligent enough.
Tiger Not Tiger's writing style.
Epsilon A possibility, although I don't think he's very capable of coming up with those scenarios, and he never seemed to like the overuse of "lol" for rhetorical effect.
Xorac22 (whoever he is) Question marks.
MA Not his writing style.
oOo yEAH oK (Star) Not intelligent enough.
Kenri Another possibility. Kenri's writing style much resembles xp's (to the point where Tiger no longer distinguishes between the two), and the quote just seems like something Kenri could say.
Some forgotten YSBers Eh.
Burgess Not even remotely his writing style.
More forgotten YSBers More eh.
Robotic I don't think so, though I don't remember this fellow well.

Given that, I think I would narrow it down to either Kenri or xp, and because I feel like it I'll say it's xp.
Now, considering it says "send" it's quite likely that refers to another event entirely - one that I am unlikely to remember. So I'll stick to this answer or switch to "Kenri" as needed.

If anything, it was TP that was a "new game high", TotA was constant, and then my opinion of it raised with time.
And as Burg said, I still like TotA, and though TP did end up in the middle of it at one point, I still maintain it's my favorite game.

Okay, so maybe your opinion of it stayed a constant, but its place dropped - considering I'm pretty sure you were calling TotA "best game ever", or at least "second best game ever", and then you put TP ahead of it. For at least a while, I'd wager you didn't like it as much. Coincidentally, that was at almost the exact same time I said it would happen. Hm.
