I have no problems with this and support it fully. Mainly because at this point Mashiro is acting like the child of Captain Falcon and Straight Cougar.

Context: Soi Fon has been battling Barragan, whose special power is "aging" - that is, anything he touches or breathes his "death breath" on rapidly ages until it's gone. Soi Fon's special ability is a tiny dagger on her finger (a stinger) that can kill any opponent in two hits. She gets thoroughly owned and loses an arm fighting him. She's forced to go bankai, which is a Stinger missile. Get it? lolololol trollan. Anyway, after spending a like whole chapter preparing to fire her bankai by tethering herself to a building to deal with the recoil and such, she hits him... and later, it's revealed that he just aged it before it hit him. lolololol trollan
Soi Fon has recently been joined in this battle by Hachi, who uses kido - that is, he's a spellcaster. In the last chapter, he spammed kido and created a giant fortress around Barragan to keep him in check, then told Soi Fon to blast the hell out of him. I have no idea why they expected this to work, something about Barragan not being able to age the missile fast enough if he's trapped or something. Trollan. Whatever. Anyway, Soi Fon blasts him, destroying the fortress and all.
Current chapter: He survived. "Shock". He starts rambling about how he's Barragan Ruizenbarn and he's the God of Hueco Mundo, and that Hachi and Soi Bean are like ants compared to him, etc etc. Soi Bean is effectively out of the fight at this point, since she's only able to use her bankai once every three days and just used it twice in like 3 minutes. Barragan attacks Hachi, Hachi throws up a barrier, Barragan ages and destroys the barrier, catches Hachi's arm with his death breath.
Hachi cuts off his arm, throws it at Barragan, Barragan ages to death.
The end.
Trollan.

And yeah, the purpose of Bleach nowadays is trollin'. Give it another 50 chapters, we'll find out Kenpachi is Yachiru's shikai, Aizen was never really a bad guy, and Renji is really a woman.

Oh good, the guy who couldn't do shit against the #4 Espada is here to save everyone from the #0 Espada. This will definitely be a worthwhile battle and not soul-crushingly awful and pointless.
