| Note: For the following level (and possibly some levels afterwards, too), I will probably refer to enemies as Promoted Class/Regular Class because there is no real difference in my mind between a level 20 Soldier and a level 1 Halberdier. I also, in general, can't tell the difference just by looking at them, so yeah. Assume I could be talking about either, and that it probably doesn't make a difference.
[Spoiler for 2-3, click to show]
Okay, so Lethe is back, and she sucks now because the new Laguz system is terrible. Kenri am cry. Heather hits on Lucia, and implies that she wanted to hit on Elincia.
I like this girl.
Darkness abounds in the level proper, and most of my characters seem to have a vision range that makes me wonder how they can even find their weapons because of how goddawful it is. First try on this level, I sent Heather and Mordecai to the right and Mordecai got gangbanged by like 273842 Generals/Armorknights, Halberdiers/Soldiers, and Archers. And Mages. Luckily he survived and I proceeded to massacre with Brom, Lucia, Lethe, Nephenee, and... Neachui? Neachuchi... Neahuhi? ...Ridiculously Old Raven Dude.
Enemies then attacked from the north, but I chokepointed them and split my army up into two groups, with the Laguz taking the higher path and the other guys taking the lower path.
I honestly have no idea why this seemed like a good idea at the time.
Protip #1 for Fire Emblem: NEVER SPLIT UP YOUR GUYS. They will get raped from all angles.
Protip #2 for Fire Emblem: NEVER DEPEND ON LAGUZ TO NOT SUCK AND DIE. They transform back into their semi-defenseless human forms at JUST the right moment to screw you over.
So yeah, while my human dudes were massacring Armorknights/Generals, the Laguz were sucking against a Fighter/Warrior with a blowgun, which is ****ing ridiculous. It OHK'd Ridiculously Old Raven Dude by dealing, like, 2723 damage. Haha, what.
Restart. From the beginning, since I didn't use any save states.
This time, I was NOT an idiot and moved my dudes in a group, walled the enemy at three different points (simultaneously, no less), finally killed the boss and his 2 Generals/Armorknights, sent Heather to get the Discipline Scroll, and seized the map.
Elincia gets all emo and gives Leanne/Elincia shippers (I've never heard of any, but I'm sure they exist. Goddamn fandoms...) a lot of material to work with. Whee. Ike is still nowhere to be found, which I take to mean he's busy screwing Soren ... like three hot girls at once.

Okay, so we have what is essentially Fire Emblem: Dynasty Warriors here.
I hate this level, mainly because my fodder dudes have the AI of a bag of spatulas.
This was also possibly the easiest level so far. So I'm not going into details. I slaughtered everyone, etc. Bring on Endgame so I can be done with this part of the game. -_-

Haha, what.
My first mission with the Greil Mercs and I have to team up with an invincible, unstoppable, never-ending, all-destroying wave of Laguz.
Ranulf: LFG for begnion boss will pay 30s
Ike: wtf kill steal
Skirmir: stfu fggt
Stupid mission was stupid.
[Spoiler for 3-1, click to show]
Okay, somewhat better here. Rout in 12 turns, which was easy enough after I figured out that trying to defend from three simultaneous attacks was not a good idea. Took out the small groups of enemies one by one while stalling the boss' group with Titania and Gatrie, finally killing the boss with Soren and defeating the enemy remnants with Ike, Boyd, Marcia, and Rhys.
Onward and upward.

I was starting to miss large, outdoor maps, so I quite enjoyed this one.
First amusing thing about this level, I had Haar knock a General down to about 2 health on the first turn since he couldn't reach anyone else. I then ignored the General because he was to the east and I was headed south. Almost the entire mission, the General was backtracking to their one Bishop to be healed. Heheh.
Next funny thing, a Bow Paladin kept pissing me off, taking potshots at my guys and then running, so I eventually sent Oscar away to kill him. It took like 5 turns to catch up to the guy, kill him, and get back to the main group. Totally worth it.
There was a Sage with Bolting, but he proved to be complete weaksauce, missing with 3 of his attacks and only doing 2 damage when he did hit. I killed him with Haar, the only one who could reach him easily.
Honestly, I screwed up this map a bit, waking up the boss too early before I could get all the items and kill everyone. Since the mission ended with the boss' death, I had two options:
1) Forget about the loot, kill the boss, end the mission
2) Forget about the boss, get the loot
I tried 2). I move my guys in to get the loot. The boss moves in and attacks Mist. He hits with a 30% chance. Mist dies. Restart. I move my guys in to get the loot. Mist dodges the boss. A Sage lands a critical hit on Ike and kills him. Restart. I move my guys in to get the loot. The boss attacks Mist. He hits. Mist gets Miracle and survives. The other enemies surround and kill Heather. Restart. I move my guys in to get the loot. The boss attacks Rhys. Rhys counterattacks and kills the boss. GODDAMMIT.
Around this point, I give up on the loot, steal the one item I can (a Statue Frag), and kill the boss. I probably should've restarted the mission entirely, but oh well, everyone has perfect 20/20 hindsight.

Probably my favorite of Ike's missions so far. Lots of loot, and I get to burn things. (My objective here was to burn all the supplies in their camp before turn 15.) I feel like this level would've been harder if I needed to use people who actually had access to fire, but hey, if my guys can make objects combust with a fierce glare, more power to 'em.
To get all the loot, I was also forced to do two things: Visit all the enemy tents, and kill all the fleeing senators. The tents were fairly easy, I just sent Haar or Heather to most of them and got the usual spiel: either "WAHHH PLZ DONT KILL ME I GIVE U RARE ITEM" or "I don't care about my boss dudes so here, take this". Which is nice. FREE STUFF **** YEAH! The fleeing senators actually made me feel a bit bad, because A) they were unarmed (didn't even have staves despite being Bishops) and B) they were fleeing and thus weren't even in my way. But eh, them's the breaks. They shouldn't have been carrying around ridiculously expensive items if they didn't want to be killed.
So I move my guys onward and upward, leaving a wave of destruction in my path, and I figure I'm going to finish like 5 turns ahead of schedule, when suddenly, about 10 reinforcements appear all over the map.
I take a quick glance around. There are 2 near my healer. There are 2 protecting the boss and the final area. There are 2 right near where most of my guys are congregating. There are more in other, less important places.
****.
I send Rhys on a mad dash across the map, hiding from the far superior Generals that want to kill him because he's a healer and healers are the number one priority for the AI in FE. I send Haar to support him, and Mia, Ike, Gatrie, and a few others handle the two near my rallying point. Soren and Boyd stall a few more, and all the while I'm trying to deal with the 5 -> 7 guys who are now in the final area.
My turns went by quickly. Generals are not easy to kill when your only casters are on the other side of the map (Soren), running for their life (Rhys), and not deployed at all (Ilyana). Ike does some crazy multitasking, killing a guy, being a meatshield, and killing another guy via counterattacks, before I finally break through their defenses and send Ike to finish the boss (previously wounded by Shinon). Haar visits the last tent and gets a Hammerne, and burns the last supply crate on turn 15.
All the horses escaped, too. Good for them. -_-
It occurs to me that Zelgius might be the most broken character in FE. Period.
-Stated to take an attack from ****ing TIBARN and not even flinch.
-Parries Skrimir's charge and defeats him with a single counterattack.
-Defeats Ranulf.
-Blocks a surprise attack from goddamn TIBARN and doesn't even move.
What the CRAP.

Senator: All subhumans must be exterminated. You are no longer allowed to retreat. That's an order.
Levail: What?! This is madness!
Zelgius: No, Levail. This is Begnion.
Easy mission here, didn't even have to restart. Split up my dudes, sending Ike, Boyd, Rolf, and Shinon to the right and up through gaps, while all my other guys took the scenic route on the left. Haar was, again, doing crazy multitasking... which almost got him killed, but eh. Easily set up a rally point right before the final area and took both the enemy boss and the boss' lackey (a General) by storm, defeating them and arriving with Ike and Ranulf to end the mission.
Zelgius defeats Skrimir in one round and my guys are forced to retreat.
What.

Defending map here, which I actually like, except for it pretty much forcing me to use units I dislike.
Soren, Shinon, Heather, Boyd, and Gatrie covered the west, Titania, Brom, Oscar, and Rolf (after he finished using the artillery) covered the east, and the rest of my guys covered the south. Ike was kicking ass and taking names, and as usual, Haar was doing crazy multitasking. Rhys was also running all over the place.
Eventually I tried to amass my forces to attack the boss, after beating back their assaults to the south and east, but then about 239 kajillion reinforcements arrived and I was forced to ignore the boss and defend for the full 10 turns. =(

Micaiah: Hey guys we're at war with the Laguz, supporting Begnion, for reasons I don't understand at all.
Jill: Why?
Micaiah: Because Pelleas says so and I trust him.
Jill: Well good, that makes exactly one of us.
Sothe: Micaiah, the Laguz are our friends. If you and I ever get separated...
Micaiah: I choose to disregard this helpful criticism from my oldest and dearest friend. C'mon everyone, we have a war to win!
Sothe: ...
Sothe: Goddammit, I hate you so much.
First thing I notice: holy **** these enemies are way stronger than my guys. And they're employing Zerg tactics. And Lethe is their commander. I am so totally screwed.
My first attempt... didn't go well, even with the Black Knight helping me. Restart, by which I mean power off, I'll try again later/tomorrow.

Less crazy multitasking from Haar here. Mainly because I'm using Micaiah's troops for this mission. Why am I controlling Micaiah during Ike's segment? Uh...
Anyway, Jill and Aran stopped the enemy at the west while Zihark, Sothe, Micaiah, Nolan, and Edward advanced on the eastern front. Laura stayed in back and healed with a Physic staff, and Leonardo went from the east to the west to the east, meanly he was mostly useless since 70% of his turns were spent wading through muck that reduced his movement. Lots of resets here as Tiger laguz gangbanged my guys with annoying frequency.
Eventually the Black Knight showed up and bailed out Aran and Jill (who were getting hurt by the massive amount of units that were starting to amass in front of them). Despite being unpromoted, Edward was far more useful than Zihark, and did manage to promote by the end of the mission. Which, by the way, is when you kill like 47 units, and Micaiah suggests they try to negotiate a peace treaty. Stupid Micaiah.
Micaiah: Lay down your weapons! I'm going to try to talk with the Laguz commander.
Ranulf: Yo.
Micaiah: We have you beat. Daein's army is here in front of you, and Begnion is behind you. There is no escape. Surrender while you can.
Ranulf: ...Or, and this is merely a suggestion, you just go straight to hell.
Sothe: Hey Ranulf.
Ranulf: Hey Sothe. You've grown. Much like Ike. Remember Ike?
Sothe: He's here?
Ranulf: Let's assume that maybe our Laguz Alliance, as per the ALLIANCE part of its name, is composed of more than one group, and maybe we have a large number of just obscenely overpowered guys ready and waiting to kick your asses all the way back to Daein.
Sothe: ...
Ranulf: And also, there's a Lion Laguz that will kill Micaiah if you don't get the fuck out. And when I say "kill Micaiah", I mean within like 2 seconds from now.
Sothe: ...
Ranulf: ...One.
Sothe: ...
Ranulf: ...One and a half.
*Skrimir roars*
Sothe: OKAY, time to leave.
Pwned.

This level looked a lot harder than it actually was. By which I mean, it looked hard, but it actually wasn't. Like, at all. I mean, my guys tore through Micaiah's guys like a brand new axe through a piece of wet tissue paper.
Best moment: Defeating Zihark.
Zihark: I'm sorry we had to meet again under these conditions, but I will not hold back.
*lol slaughter*
Zihark: ...So it's true, the Greil Mercenaries really are here. [To Micaiah's troops] We have no hope for victory. I am retreating. I really suggest you all do the same.
Sadly I didn't get a chance to take out Micaiah herself, as the Black Knight was placed firmly between me and her. Stupid Knight.
Speaking of BK, I had his identity spoiled for me! God, I love GameFAQs, the place where you can go into a topic on the SSBB board marked *spoilers*, WITH NO INDICATION THAT THE TOPIC IS ABOUT FIRE EMBLEM, and find major Fire Emblem spoilers!
It really is my own fault, but that doesn't mean I'm not pissed off. -_-
Anyway, end of chapter lolz
Daein soldier: General Micaiah. The Laguz Alliance has crossed the river.
Micaiah: What.
Daein soldier: Not just the beast tribes, either. Hundreds of hawks as well.
Sothe: Huh. This is the first time an enemy general has outmaneuvered you, Micaiah.
Micaiah: ...
Sothe: To be fair, you totally deserved this. (Author's note: Sothe did not actually say anything like this, but he totally should have.)
[Spoiler for 3-8, click to show]
Oh dear, I'm in a fiery pit of death. Wonderful.
Plus I'm fighting a guy named Septimus, so I kept expecting him to tell his troops to transform and rollout or something.
I realized about half way through the level why I kept getting hit with lava. I was clumping all my guys together on the damn volcanic spew zones.
Haha, I'm an idiot.
Once I figured that out, it was a simple matter to rally all my guys together (I split them up at the start) and take out the enemy. Ike's dudes are SO DAMN OVERPOWERED. Holy Christ. They had like a million Generals and I killed them all in about two turns.
Nephenee and Gatrie are quickly becoming by best units, with Shinon and Mia right behind. Ike was hit with the nerf stick (or rather, the whole goddamn nerf tree) between this game and the last game, so he was kicking some ass, but not as much as he should have. Same goes for Soren. Haar is, of course, my absolute best unit and SO FAR beyond the others that it's not even funny.
Anyway, I make it out of the pit of death and into... Goldoa. The dragon territory. Wonderful, great job Skrimir.
Ranulf: Dragon King, hey Dragon King!
Ranulf: Can we has safe passage through Goldoa?
Dragon King: No. Go back through the pits of fire and death.
Ranulf: :3 nyoro~n
Which leads to this gem:
Ike: Hey, I have an idea, why don't you just kill us all instead. The end result is the same, and it'll save us the walk.
Luckily Nasir and Ena appear and DEUS EX MACHINA the King into letting you leave through the borders like regular people.

Elincia is quickly becoming my favorite character in this game. Along with Ranulf. Her incredible stunt at the end of 2-Final pushed her up there, now I get stuff like this:
Begnion: Hey Crimea, we need supplies and stuff and passage through your country to get to Gallia, kthx.
Elincia: Um, no, may I suggest that instead of Gallia you all just go straight to hell.
Begnion Senator: What! How dare you! Everyone, attack Crimea!
Geoffrey: No, you won't be doing that.
*Royal Knights massacre the Begnion force*
Begnion Senator: This treason will not be tolerated!
Elincia: Haha what. You attacked me. And not very successfully, either.
Zelgius: Uh, okay, how about this, we don't take any of your stuff, but you let us through to Gallia.
Elincia: No.
Zelgius: This is how negotiations work, we give a little and then you give a little.
Elincia: No. Go die in a fire.
Zelgius: Right, so, I'm leaving now because you scare me.
Elincia: Zelgius, wait. You realize the Apostle would never allow this kind of enormous failure, right? Is she safe?
Zelgius: ...Um, like I saying, I'm leaving now without answering that.
Elincia: ...
Yeah, not much to say about the actual chapter, except that my guys started out severely underleveled, I guess, because despite being several levels higher than the enemies, they were getting their asses kicked. Eventually they gained some levels, though, and then started slaughtering.
I was also totally in the zone here, several times doing crazy stuff that resulted in my units being left with literally 1 HP, but never having to actually reset (IIRC). And I managed to save all 6 houses (thanks largely to Marcia being able to cross almost the entire map in one move). So yeah, not bad for being ridiculously underleveled.

Whoa it's actually 3-10 already. Holy crap.
So the Laguz Alliance finally gets back to their home in Gallia, just to find out that Begnion is on the way and has broken up into two armies. The Laguz Alliance meets them and they're prepared to have a giant war on Crimea's border when Elincia shows up. She gets between the two armies, drops her weapons, and says "I cannot permit this. Both armies will leave now."
Skrimir: She's got guts. The beast tribes are pulling back.
Tibarn: Nice move. Queen, you and I definitely need to talk when this is over. Bird tribes, fall back.
Zelgius: Hm, laying down your weapon while between two opposing forces... Even I would be hesitant to do something like that. Men, we're retreating. Back to Begnion.
Valtome (Begnion senator): What. Zelgius, I have command of your army, so you will stay and fight.
Zelgius: Fight 'em yourself. *leaves*
Valtome: Fine, I will!
*start mission*
3-10 features some of the dumbest AI I've ever seen. Ever. Seriously. Elincia's Royal Knights (the same guys I was using in most of part 2) think a good strategy is to have all their units form a mass around Elincia and stay put. If a unit moves to attack, all other units will then move so they can maintain their clump. wtf. It did keep them out of my way, though...
So yeah, fairly easy chapter here, though I had to attack on two fronts, and I didn't really have enough men to safely break through either. Eventually Shinon, Rolf, and Mia did some crazy stuff and took out the top route's units, allowing Shinon to slip in behind the other units and kill their healers, FINALLY allowing Gatrie and Nephenee to break through and finish off the bottom enemies.
Then I quickly regrouped and swarmed the boss' units, which by now were busying attacking Elincia's fodder knights (generic units that I didn't care if I lost). Killed the boss, Valtome retreated, which lead to this scene:
Valtome: For the crime of high treason, you will now be put to death.
Zelgius: ...
Levail: Wait! This is madness!
(Levail "This is madness!" count is now at 4, I think. Seriously, he says this WAY TOO DAMN MUCH.)
Levail: To execute a general of Zelgius' caliber without a trial? Begnion will revolt!
Valtome: Don't worry. The story we'll tell Begnion is that Zelgius died in combat after slaying hundreds of subhumans. No need to concern citizens with such petty political matters that they cannot understand.
Levail: The Apostle will have your head for this.
Valtome: Oh, somehow I doubt the Apostle will ever hear anything about this.
Holy Knight Sigrun: HOLD IT!
Valtome: The Holy Guard?! What are they doing here?!
*presents "Apostle Sanaki"*
Apostle: TAKE THAT!
Apostle: And no, we won't be executing Zelgius, is that clear?
Valtome: That... that's a fake Apostle, meant to deceive us!
Sigrun: OBJECTION!
Sigrun: If that's true, then are we a fake Holy Guard as well?
Valtome: Urk!
Valtome: Yes, well... You're corrupt, then! The fact that your Prime Minister is locked up is proof enough!
Zelgius: You can start an unjust war, you can take command of my army, you can conspire to kill me, you can badmouth the Apostle... But never. Besmirch. Sephiran's. Good name.
*Zelgius picks up Valtome and starts strangling him*
Zelgius: CHOKE ON YOUR LIES.
Other stuff happens. Elincia, Tibarn, Caineghnis (totally didn't spell that right, I'm sure), the Heron royal family, and the Apostle all form an alliance called the Apostle's Army. And who will head the army?
See, this is why Ike is awesome. He asks why he's heading the army, and the Apostle tells him that of everyone in the entire army, Ike is the only one who commands respect from: 1) Crimea, 2) Begnion, 3) Gallia, and 4) Phoenicis. Of the 6 countries in Tellius, 4 of them recognize Ike as awesome.
Preemptive major character ranking:
Elincia > Ranulf > Zelgius = Tibarn > Apostle Sanaki > Ike > The Black Knight > Skrimir > Reyson, Leanne, and Rafiel > Geoffrey > Sothe > Sigrun > Caineghis > Micaiah
So yeah, plot heavy chapter here. Awesome.

| I beat Yoshi's Island for the SNES a while ago, but failed to do any writeups. I suck. >_>
Yoshi's Island... oh wow, Yoshi's Island. Let me just say this game wasn't nearly as terrible as I used to think it was, but I was also really glad when it was over. Holy Christ there were some huge problems with it. Like Baby Mario in general. I mean the fact that he exists. The game needed 100% less Baby Mario and a health system instead. There were also some stages that exceeded what should be the time limit for platforming levels by about 12 minutes. Seriously, they were WAY TOO DAMN LONG. Luckily only about 1 stage in every 5 was like that, but still.
But yeah, I beat it, despite the awful final level. I will not be going back to find the secret levels or to 100% anything. Decent game but people need to stop treating it like a delicious blueberry chocolate muffin handmade by God or the second coming of Christ in platformer form.
Also, a few weeks ago I ordered Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii: Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2 from play-asia. This game's title is way too freaking long. So I'm going to call it "Ouendan 2" like everyone else.
Dear god I suck at this. Like, I failed the first song about 8 times. And also, I can't understand wtf is going on, and I don't even think being able to read Japanese would help very much.

| New feature! Kenri tries to decipher wtf is going on in each scenario, followed by what is actually going on (courtesy of a GameFAQs guide).
[Spoiler for Scenario 1, click to show]
Scenario 1
Song: Sukima Switch - "Zenryoku Shonen"
What I thought happened: Businessman is depressed that he can't spend enough time with his family, so he blows off work to go home. Suddenly his boss angrily approaches him, but if you did well the businessman gives his boss a report he worked on, impressing him and getting him off your back... But the businessman realizes he forgot his wallet! Then he remembers his wife/mom/some woman gave it to him, and somehow he ends up winning a trip to New York for his whole family!
What actually happened: The student from OTO 1's first stage has graduated, and is applying for a job,
but he hasfailed 99 tries so far. His family is using his application, resume,
etc. as scrap paper(His father actually says "I thought they were trash
hahahahaha").
O His brother sticks the picture on his application and puts in an envelope.
O He forgets his wallet, but his mom gave him some money earlier.
O During an interview, he says his family is a precious treasure too him.
He suddenly gets a position in New York.
Huh. I was somewhat close!
Did the second song, wow that third stage was a nightmare. I was getting 300 for just about every note until that damn third stage of the song which really tripped me up every time I tried it. Finally passed it after about 4 tries.
[Spoiler for Scenario 2, click to show]
Scenario 2
Song: Kaela Kimura - "Real Life Real Heart"
What I thought happened: A girl is starting her first day at an all female high school... only to find her boyfriend crossdressing to attend as well! And then... for some reason the boyfriend threatens her with a knife, but he's deflected by the girl and her friends(?) singing in harmony. And that's when suddenly the girls all reveal that they're single parents, and the boyfriend starts freaking out again, until the girls sing to him. But then... a wild boar shows up and threatens the principal! Luckily the girls are able to sing to it, causing it to ram into a tree. The end.
What actually happened: The elite Versailles girl's choir has no members except the leader, until a new
girl joins in. The leader rambles something to the effect of "win the
competition or the club will be disbanded."
O The new girl gets a lot of new members.
O They babysit for the club fund.
O A boar charges into the principal and the choir saves him(the club was voice
training in the field).
They win and club gets to stay.
I liked my version better. <_<
Oh, and anyone who finds me a gif of the girls choir singing wins a lot of shrines.

| Song 3. Easiest song yet, beat it on the first try.
[Spoiler for Scenario 3, click to show]
Scenario 3
Song: FLOW - "Okuru Kotoba"
Whoa, that song was by FLOW? Didn't realize that. >_>
What I thought happened: Sumo guy got his ass kicked. To train, he let VICIOUS ANIMALS chase him, and they would catch him unless he knocked his opponent out of his way (and out of the ring) while fleeing. First a cheetah, then an elephant, then BOTH. Eventually he wins a trophy.
What actually happened: Thie sumo wrestler has three younger siblings and needs to win the next
competetion.
O He trains his speed and learns cheetah charge.
O He eats natto(a traditional Japanese food made from fermented soybeans,
popularespecially at breakfast. It is a rich source of protein. For some,
natto can be an acquired taste due to its powerful smell, strong flavor, and
sticky consistency) and his grappling skill improves.
O He trains power and learned elephants charge.
He uses all the moves he learned, wins every single match and wins the
tournament.
>.> I was close.
Either I'm getting better or the game is getting easier. Beat the 4th song on my first try as well.
[Spoiler for Scenario 4, click to show]
Scenario 4
Song: Ken Hirai - "POP STAR"
What I thought happened: A doctor takes a boat ride to an island of sick people, but they immediately swarm him and he's overwhelmed, so he calls the Ouendan. And through the magic of male cheerleading, he cures some old woman's husband, some farmer's horse, and some woman's microwave.
What actually happened: A genius doctor decides to quit and move to an island.
O He operates on the old man and turns his hair black.
O He operates on the horse to make it healthy.
O He operates on the microwave.
People on the island become extra healthy and the doctor wants to be their
doctor forever.
Nailed it! (Sorta.)
All right, beat the next one on my first try too! (Though I am still getting all C or D ranks.)
[Spoiler for Scenario 5, click to show]
Scenario 5
Song: Hitomi Yaida - "Go My Way"
What I thought happened: An important old man is visiting a dojo where a woman wrestler is training. The woman is forced to do a whole bunch of stuff for him, including cleaning up the dojo (somehow causing a bunch of cherry trees to blossom), cook him a meal, and heat a bath for him. She does this so well that the old guy gives a gift of a valuable(?) vase to the dojo.
What actually happened: An ex-pro wrestler needs to perform well for the pottery guy from OTO1.
O She prepares the garden, which becomes full of sakura.
O She kills a bear and prepares a bear meal.
O She warms the bath.
The pottery guy is very pleased.
...How did I miss the bear?

Anyway, you can only enter about 3 of the tents, so it's not a big deal if you missed them.

Scenario 6
Song: The Checkers - "Julia Ni Shoshin"
What I thought happened: A barber is trying to hit on some cute girl, when a rival barber pretty-boy appears and the girl swoons all over him. So the two barbers choose to match their skills in a barber-off! The barber successfully styles a woman's hair to look like a bunch of roses, and a man's hair to look like a battleship. Finally, the barber and his rival engage in a single stroke battle. The barber defeats his rival by shaving him bald.
What actually happened: The hair artist uses a barriquand(hair clippers) on everything. Another hair
artist challenges him to a duel. The main artist's assistant is not impressed
by his use of the barriquand.
O The artist performs "Flower Romantica" and his opponent miserably fails.
O The artist performs "Magnum Storm" and the other guy fails again.
O The artist performs a skill that's hard to translate to English, but it's for
a wedding. The other guy fails again.
They go on a duel wild west style and the main guy shaves the challenger's
hair into a big "L."
Nailed it. Again.
[Spoiler for Scenario 7, click to show]
Scenario 7
Song: Going Under Ground - "VISTA"
What I thought happened: A shoemaker's wife badgers him about how their shoe store lacks business, and suggests he travel to Mars to sell shoes to all the octopus aliens there (wtf) because they would each need 4 pairs of shoes. The man does so (wtf again), and makes shoes for a bunch of octopus aliens, some caterpillar aliens, and some huge cyclops aliens. He makes a fortune, returns to Earth, and opens an intergalactic shoe store (wtf a 3rd time).
What actually happened: The shoe maker produces way too many weird sneakers, his daughter complains
and the father says "Well, it's not like I can sell these to aliens." The
daughter ships her father to outer space to sell the sneakers aliens on Venus.
O The father jumps on lava wearing his sneakers and squid-octopus aliens go
crazy for the shoes.
O The father does broadcasts a commercial on broadcast and a 50-legged bug
alien orders 50 shoes, etc.
O A giant alien wants shoes too, the father stretches his shoes and it fits the
giant well. The giants pay with gigantic coins.
He builds a universal shoe store, a big hit with aliens.
...This just doesn't make sense no matter how you look at it.

3. I still want to kill this level with fire and never look back.
No writeup because I'm currently trying to blank my memory of everything that wasn't story related.
Which reminds me, Pelleas is a stupid, stupid, stupid fucker. I have a hard time deciding who's dumber, him or Micaiah.

| What I find a bit amusing is that I got FE10 on Saturday, and I'm ahead of you. Part IV: Prologue.
But then, I'm playing on Easy Mode for this playthrough, so that's almost certainly why. Though I'm semi-handicapping myself by using horrendous EXP management. <_<
Update: May need to retcon this, I admit I only gave Part IV: Prologue one try, but that try told me that it's the ultimate, "You want to screw with EXP Management? Well, you're ****ed" level. I'm tempted to restart and actually play smart instead of just for fun now.

| No, in fact, I unleashed my full rage with it.
I had about 90,000 Bonus EXP stored up. I used about 50,000 right there. Team marched through with relative ease after that.
I mismanaged by playing around with the prepromotes because I liked them character-wise, figuring I could get away with it because of Easy Mode. I mostly shied away from using Bonus EXP, but not this time.

| You think, MS? Really? >_>
That's kind of why I had so much of it stored up, I was loathe to use it for that very reason. But when my team was that weak, anything was better than nothing. And it worked masterfully, ownage ensued. Besides, the RNG has hated me this entire playthrough, so very often I see a level-up and go, "Damn, would have been better if it was Bonus EXP".

I actually just figured this out today. I had to level up Micaiah's dudes so that they wouldn't get horribly slaughtered. >_>
[Spoiler for 3-12, click to show]
Fairly easy level here, except for the extreme moral dilemma in that I <3 the Apostle and I want to kick Micaiah into a vat of carnivorous squirrels.
Hit a problem where my guys were underleveled (seriously, level 1-3 vs. level 8), but some Bonus EXP straightened that up and then I slaughtered.
Also, Tibarn should've killed Sothe. He deserves it for supporting Micaiah.
[Spoiler for 3-13, click to show]
I actually forget which chaptered this happened in, so I'm putting it here to be safe. Pelleas is a moron of epic proportions, and Micaiah is an idiot for listening to him.
Anyway. vs. Ike & Laguz. Luckily Laguz are terrible units or I'd be worried, but any time the enemy has to resort to Zerg rushes to even damage me I know I'm safe. Still have to finish this chapter, I'm at turn 7, so about half-way done. It would be a lot easier if I had just one more good unit, but eh.

Ike started moving when his team arrived on turn 10, and started cutting through my guys like butter. Which was my cue to take everyone important and run in the opposite direction.
At the end of turn 12 I "won", but Ike's guys were ready to kill everyone in a cutscene anyway. Which is when Elincia appeared with a huge ****ing dragon and blew up the castle.
If I had a dollar for every time Elincia made every other character look like crap by comparison, I would have 3 dollars.
