| Kenri, I'm going to give you some advice for later.
When you have control of Elincia next, she has a skill called Mercy. Remove it. It's evil. Or not, if you for some reason want it.
I won despite it's evil power, but it was somewhat annoying. Decent for levelling other units though. Ended up having Lucia play tag-along because of it which helped level her up.

| Oh Jesus, Mercy.
I'm sure I'll forget to remove it, but thanks for reminding me. <_<;

| Speaking of which, having beaten the game this morning. More adivce. You know how Micaiah's HP is so pitifully low? Try to make it higher, it'll make things less stressful.
Micaiah had 30 HP for me, and well, probably would have been better if she had, well, more.

| I don't think I have anything to worry about, I used a Robe on Micaiah a little while ago. >_>
[Spoiler for 4-Prologue, click to show]
Kenri's thought process:
Huh, these guys are only level 20/4 or so... my guys are only a few levels behind, for once! Let's do this.
Wait, crap, these guys are stronger than they should be. And more arrive every turn. And they give like 75 EXP per kill.
...
This gives me an idea!
So yeah. My guys started at, like, 20/2-20/6, and now they're all 20/11 or higher. Sigrun promoted to 3rd stage. Sothe went from level 5ish to level 18, in preparation for his forced promotion. Not quite 20, but close enough for me to not care.
3 comments about the plot of this chapter:
1. There was also some explanation for the uber enemies, apparently they were little Black Knight Jrs, except without the invincibility hax. So, in other words, they're worthless and Ashera is stupid for assuming they would stop me.
2. You know what the best part about Sothe calling Yune "that stupid bird" is? I wanted it to happen, and then it did.
3. The big problem with having another being in your body? Sex becomes really awkward. I'd say that Sothe and Micaiah are like siblings, but that's never stopped Fire Emblem before, so...

| So, yeah, I'm playing through again, because well...
1. Easy Mode, that's just not the way to finish things.
2. I missed quite a bit of things.
3. Lots of different/new things in a second playthrough to do
[Spoiler for FE10 - Part II: Endgame, click to show]
So, after dealing with the lol Brigade chapters, I went through a relative period of dominations, which was slightly slowed here.
Elincia: Okay, I know that one guy opened the door for the rebel army, but don't we have more doors... with more trustworthy guards?
Crimea Guard #1: No... well, yes. There's a door over there.
Elinica: ...Not only is that not an absolute chokepoint in that they could still get to us through a different route... that door has 70 HP and is on the enemy frontlines, we couldn't even defend it if we wanted to. And why is our main platform so damaged that it can be broken?
Crimea Guard #1: Oh, that. Uh... magic?
Elincia: Wonderful.
Ludveck: Hey guys, I'm here you know.
Elincia: Yeah, I'll get to you in a minute. Haar, go on a trench run, pretend it's the Death Star and Ludveck is the generator.
Haar: Is this A New Hope or Return of the Jedi?
Elinica: Does it matter?
Haar: It might.
Elincia: Empire Strikes Back.
Haar: =(
Elincia: The rest of you, defend and push forward. I'll support from the main platform with my hax sword and move after attack skillz.
Marcia: Reinforcements have arrived!
Elinica: That implies more than one. Liar.
Marcia: My pegasus-
Elincia: So doesn't count. Anyway, you join me in the support role.
Marcia: Sorry, I don't have a hax sword.
Elincia: Useless. And don't these so called reinforcements arrive from the other side of the map than the one you came from? Why'd you show up from the west?
Marcia: Well, uh... I took the scenic route.
Elincia: ...
Nephenee: Well, I'll go west.
Calill: I'll pretend to back you up... hey wait where's my Meteor tome?
Brom: You mean this?
Calill: ...What. Why do you have...
Brom: Soren contacted me telepathically and says he wants it for Part III, he sends his regards and laughs at your new plight.
Calill: Damnit! That doesn't even make sense!
Brom: Anyway, I'll go east with the laguz.
Laguz: k
Elincia: Okay, let's do this!
Elinica: Middle platform secured!
Ludveck: Not so fast! Reinforcement spam.
Geoffery: Not so fast! Reinforcement-Damnit! Hey, Haar, how's it going?
Haar: They actually have competent defense. In the sense that zerging is competent.
Geoffery: Oh yeah? Let's show them a real zerg. OKAY LET'S DO THI-
Haar: No.
Geoffery: Huh?
Haar: They have three thunder sages right there, I am NOT flying into that.
Geoffery: I'll-
Haar: -ride into the 10 enemy generals? Pfft, yeah right.
Geoffery: So, what do we do?
Haar: You... stay there. I'll help the middle platform.
Geoffery: ...What? But last time...
Haar: Last time was easy mode, n00b. Stay.
Geoffery: Bah!
Ludveck: lolz ur offense was pwned
Haar: Too bad it's your offense that needs to win. All of you scrubs, pull back to the main platform. I'll hold the middle platform.
Everyone: k.
Thunder Sage Trio: We're on your middle platform, missing on your Crimea Soldier units.
Haar: ...Okay, I guess I'll retreat too.
Ludveck: Ha, it's over now, even Haar's retreated!
Elincia: Hey, n00b, I have a Psychic staff and a heron backing me up, your entire offense will spend the last three turns futilely trying to fight my three Crimean Guard units.
Ludveck: ...That's not fair. That's cheating!
Elinica: QQ more, lamer.
(Three Turns Later)
Rebel Army: We got one! Ha! Now we can swarm and...
Ludveck: It's Turn 15, morons.
Not the most... er... awesome victory, but a win nonetheless.

| Yeah, that Normal Playthrough is falling by the wayside. I'm not really having difficulties, but Easy Mode is just so tempting, because it's much faster. To the point where I think I can beat it twice before dealing with the Normal Playthrough which is on 3-2.
Easy Mode is just so... funny, I can't help it. >_>

| For example, back to Part II: Endgame... on Easy
[Spoiler for FE10 - Part II: Endgame, on Easy Mode this time, click to show]
Elincia: You still haven't fixed that part of the wall?
Crimea Guard #1: It's uh... difficult.
Elincia: ...
Calill: Well, at least I'll have my Meteor time this-No.
Brom: Pwned!
Calill: Why now! Second playthrough doesn't apply this time because xp was too stupid to copy the clear data!
Brom: Soren again sends his regards again, he says that he'll stubbornly pretend it's second playthrough anyway, kind of like... practice for the real time.
Calill: ...
Nephenee: I'll go east this time.
Mordecai: Same.
Lethe: Well, someone has to go west.
Heather: Same.
Nealuchi: Ditto.
Calill: ...I'll join that team.
Brom: I'll guard our poorly built wall.
Haar: Trench run.
Ludveck: Okay, this time will be different.
Elincia: Oh yes, it will.
Elincia: Middle platform status - Dominated.
Ludveck: wtf!
Haar: Trench status - Dominated.
Ludveck: This... this isn't good.
Elinicia: Bottom left corner status - In process of being dominated.
Ludveck: What!? That's never happened before!
Elincia: Final Platform status - Contested
Ludveck: Oh crap...
Geoffery: Reinforcements have arrive-wtf
Haar: That won't be necessary.
Geoffery: Huh?
Haar: This is easy mode.
Geoffery: Are you saying I don't need to help as much in easy mode?
Elincia: No, Geoffery, what we're saying is, on easy mode, you won't have to... at all.
Ludveck: ...
Yeah, I got Ludveck the same turn Geoffery showed up, Turn 8. I was trying to get him before then, but, meh. Probably could have if I actually took risks.

Dammit. I want to say "hardest level yet", but I think I only had problems because I'm stupid.
After the first few turns where I stalled the enemies at the first edges of my campground, thinning their numbers, I decided to take the fight to them by leading Ike and Boyd south, pulling Haar and Rolf from the west, and pulling Soren from the east. Tanith, Titania, and Nailah were all behind to give back up, with Rhys, Rafiel, and Mist in the back.
At turn 7, I was dominating, and preparing to win within a few turns. Then, units started warping in. A lot of units. Okay, full retreat. No big deal, right?
Haar: Hey, uh, nobody freak out, but there's a Falconknight, like, RIGHT there.
Tanith: One over here, too.
Ike: I'm a little busy, I can't retreat as fast as you flying units.
Boyd: Same here.
Soren: I'm being swarmed by swordmasters. Tanith, little help?
Rolf: There are also, like, 3 guys coming from the west.
Kenri: IT'S OKAY GUYS, I'M HERE TO HELP! Haar, wound the Falconknight. Tanith, rescue Soren, move, have Rafiel use his Galdr, move again, kill the wounded Falconknight. Rolf, Titania, fight off the guys to the northwest. Nailah, rescue Rafiel. Ike and Boyd, full retreat.
Ike: Brilliant, but you forgot the OTHER Falconknight.
Kenri: ...****.
Kenri: Okay, let's do (other move that is slightly different).
Rolf: Enemy swordmaster about to kill Mist.
Kenri: ****! Okay, let's do (other move that is slightly different).
Tanith: *dies*
Kenri: GODDAMMIT. Okay, restart, do (other move that is slightly different).
Rhys: *killed by Falconknight*
Kenri: DAMMIT RHYS, YOU HAVE ELLIGHT, DEFEND YOURSELF. *restart*
Kenri: GAH ROLF WHY CAN YOU NOT DODGE THAT. *restart*
Kenri: OH FOR THE LOVE OF... SINCE WHEN DOES ****ING HAAR DIE?!
Haar: *shrug*
Kenri: *restart*
Kenri: *restart*
Kenri: *restart*
Kenri: *restart*
Kenri: *restart*
(You get the idea.)
Kenri: Okay, screw it, everyone against the western walls, Tanith, do the thing, rescue Soren, Rafiel uses Galdr, move, drop Soren in front of you, Haar rescues Mist, Titania rescues Rafiel, Nailah rescues Rhys, Ike and Boyd, full retreat. LET'S DO THIS.
Kenri: ...wtf, it actually worked?! Okay guys, kill the Falconknights, forget about dropping your baggage, just make do.
Ena: Um. Enemy approaching.
Tanith: I'm a Seraph Knight now, I'll handle it.
Ike: Their reinforcements have stopped. Tanith, Haar, Boyd, Soren, Rolf - advance.
Tanith: But there are snipers down there!
Ike: You're like 20/20/1 and you can't deal with a level 5 sniper?
Tanith: Apparently not.
Boyd: **** YES COLOSSUS
Ike: Problem solved.
Tanith: kthx
Boss: Yo.
Boyd: BOWGUN FOR 263842 DAMAGE, *****.
Boss: ...Damn. *dies*
Enemy healers: ...We are so screwed.
...And that's how I learned my lesson.

| And again my mind is switching. Even though the Easy Playthrough is now further at 3-5, I'm doubting whether or not I can tolerate a third playthrough so close after the other two.

Edward, Nolan, Jill: OKAY, LET'S DO THIS!
Laura: omg they all just-
Micaiah: Yeah, I know, and the fact that it was all three of them ruined the parody too. They went North, cover them and-
Zihark: You know, I think I'll go East.
Sothe: So will I!
Micaiah: We are so screwed.
Lethe: roflcopter, we've got this.

Micaiah: ...Apparently not, feel free to join the East front though.
Black Knight: Don't mind if I do.
Lethe: They might just reach us before the map ends!
Micaiah: Nah, you're safe. A few more turns though...
So, yeah, the LOL Brigade was just dominating 3-6. It was crazy.

Micaiah: Nerf Easy Mode!
Ike: Quiet you. Strategy?
Soren: March right down the center. I'll go after Micaiah, you take the Black Knight.

Edward: Have no fear! I'm here!

Shinon: roflcopter
Leonardo: ...Or not.
Soren: Okay, everyone take positions. Operation Meteor is now in effect.
Micaiah: What are they doing-
*Soren and Micaiah have epic battle conversation*
*Micaiah is doubled by Meteor*

Black Knight: Well, you guys are getting owned, I better start moving.
Ike: Crap.
Soren: No problem, everyone just retreat. Except you, Ike.
Ike: Damnit!
Shinon: Problem, I can't retreat far enough, and Haar can't rescue me for a turn.
Soren: Minor issue, we still have two turns for this to work, wait for Haar.
Black Knight: Not if I can help it.
Shinon: I lived? Aw yeah I did damage too!
Black Knight: I'll just recover that on my turn thanks to my hax skills.
Shinon: Meh.
Haar: Shinon get.
Soren: Okay, Ike, it's up to you now.
Ike: I hate this plan.
Black Knight: We meet again.
Ike: So we do.
Black Knight: You're facing me with a Wind Edge? Are you serious?
Ike: Talk to Soren.
Black Knight: *Looks over one square* Are you serious?
Soren: Very.
Black Knight: Okay... wtf I missed?
Soren: Evasion ftw.
Ike: And I... do no damage. What a surprise.

Aside from some minor complications (goddamn you Falconknights and your ability to traverse the entire map in a single move), chapter went very smoothly. Almost too smoothly, I'm a bit worried I put too many awesome guys in Elincia's team.
Marcia, Tauroneo, Kieran, Calill, and Reyson took the fight downwards from the starting point at the far NE, while Nephenee, Gatrie, and Lucia stalled at northern chokepoint. Elincia ran around healing people, while Tibarn and Ranulf hung out in the NE corner killing the single reinforcements who arrived periodically. Eventually Tauroneo's team killed pretty much everyone to the S and SE, including the SE reinforcements. They then met up with Nephenee's team, and proceeded to storm westward and slaughter. Marcia became a Seraph Knight, Kieran became a Gold Knight, and Tauroneo stalled the boss' area until he promoted to a Marshal. Gatrie, Marcia, and Kieran moved downward and killed everyone in the SW, while Nephenee, Tauroneo, Lucia, Calill, and Reyson (in bird form) killed the boss and all his/her friends.
Valtome: Blah blah blah chosen one blah blah blah Zelgius blah blah blah I will destroy you all
Nephenee: *Impale, does 23 damage x4, OHK*
Valtome: Oh ****.
Haha owned. I've been wanting to do that for a while. Now I just need to find Izuka...

Sothe: Why the hell is he green?! He's stealing our EXP and refuses to cooperate!

Ike: There might be a day when the mighty Greil Mercenaries fall, but TODAY IS NOT THAT DAY! FOR TONIGHT! WE DINE! IN DUKE OLIVER'S MANSION!
Oliver: What.
Tormod: Hey Ike! Help us! Sothe didn't let us fight during part 1 so now we're all horribly underleveled!
Ike: Dammit. Everyone except Titania, climb the gap and protect Edward Elric and his friends.
Tormod: WHO ARE YOU CALLING AN INSIGNIFICANT LITTLE SPECK OF DUST YOU HAVE TO PUT UNDER A MICROSCOPE TO-
Ike: Tormod, shut the fuck up.
Tormod: ...Yes Commander.
Soren: Adept, Flare.
Ike: Critical.
Rhys: Ellight. I'm helping!
Boyd: Colossus.
Tanith: Stun.
Haar: Stun.
Oliver: Okay men, NOW! Attack!
Haar: Uh, Ike, there are some guys attacking from the balconies to the north... And from the door to the right.
Ike: THE ENEMY OUTNUMBERS US A PALTRY 6 TO ONE! GOOD ODDS FOR ANY REAVER!
Boyd: Is that your not-so-subtle way of telling me that I'm going to end up soloing these guys?
Ike: Yes. Boyd, block the hallway. Rolf, Rhys, take the gap. Tanith, Soren, you're with me. Haar, you and Heather get the treasure.
Haar: But-
Ike: You're like 4 levels ahead of everyone else. Get the treasure, these guys are scrubs anyway.
Boyd: Uh. Ike?
Ike: What now?!
Boyd: About a billion guys just teleported in below us.
Haar: And over here, too.
Ike: ...Crap. Haar, you take those guys.
Haar: ALL of them?
Ike: Just sit in the one tile long hallway and block them off, we'll catch up soon.
Boyd: More enemies just warped in below us.
Sage: *Meteor*
Ike: ...Okay, I'm gonna kill that guy. Everyone else, you can't be hit when you have the high ground, so just slaughter them.
Boyd: Hand Axe.
Tanith: Storm Sword.
Rhys: Ellight.
Rolf: Silencer.
Soren: Arcwind.
Rafiel: Galdr.
Boyd: Hand Axe.
Tanith: Javelin.
Boyd: Hand Axe.
Rhys: Ellight. Corona.
Rolf: Critical hit!
Soren: Arcwind.
Tanith: Javelin.
Boyd: There's no end to these - Hand Axe - guys!
Rhys: Ellight.
Tanith: Javelin.
Rolf: Silencer.
Boyd: Hand-... crap, Hand Axe is broken. Uh... Bowgun?
Warrior: HAHAHAHAHA
Boyd: Okay, fine. Bowgun aimed at Sage.
Sage: Damn my pitiful Defenses!
Soren: I regret to inform you that I am almost out of high level spells... I mean, Arcwinds.
Tanith: My Storm Sword is almost gone too.
Rhys: And my Ellight.
Ike: Is this their new strategy? Throw wave after wave of their guys at us until all our weapons break?
Haar: Sup guys.
Ike: Haar, you're supposed to be guarding the hallway! Dammit, you don't even have to do anything, how can you mess this-
Haar: *points at a pile of bodies that reaches the ceiling and blocks off the entire hallway*
Ike: ...What the crap.
Haar: What's really cool is that I killed about 10 of them last turn. I'm not even kidding. Tomahawks are ridiculous. Of course I only got to use mine for like one turn before it broke, but...
Boyd: Screw it, this is taking too long. SURPRISE JUMP ATTACK OFF OF GAP!
Swordmasters: ...You realize you're a Warrior, right?
Boyd: Reaver, actually. Which means I can do thi-COLOSSUS.
Swordmasters: ...Crap. *dies*
Rolf: Critical hit.
*PING*
Rolf: **** YES, MARKSMAN MOTHER****ERS! WHO WANTS ME NOW?!
Rhys: Are you going to tell them that Titania died like 9 turns ago and that we're going to end up resetting this mission?
Ike: ...Wanna draw straws?

Ike: Okay, the last attempt... did not go so well.
Haar: Which part? The part where you went all gung-ho, tried to take on 4 Sages by yourself, and nearly got killed, or the part where Mist survived blunt, Meteor-induced trauma to the head, only to be killed by the second blunt, Meteor-induced trauma to the head?
Ike: Regardless, I have devised a plan so simple an idiot could have thought of it! Soren, mug Tormod of his Meteor. We're going to fight Meteors... WITH METEORS.
Soren: Dammit, Ike. ......That's brilliant.
Sage with Meteor: HEY GUYS I'M HERE TO PICK OFF YOUR WEAK UNITS!
Soren: Meteor.
Sage with Meteor: ...Crap.
Boyd: Entry hall is secure.
Haar: Hallway is, uh, not so secure.
Rolf: Deadeye.
Tanith: Stun.
Rhys: Corona.
Haar: Stun. Okay, hallway is clear.
Ike: Storm the upper levels. Haar, Tanith, Heather, treasure duty. Rafiel and the other 3rd tier units, you're with me. Soren, Meteor that Bishop with Sleep before he screws us up.
Soren: Gotcha. Time to rain enough ash and fire to block out-
Ike: No, 8BT already did that exact joke.
Soren: Then I retract my statement and replace it with the following: GET A LOAD OF-GET A LOAD OF-GET A LOAD OF THIS!!
Bishop: *dead*
Generals: were in ur face, blockin dis spac-AUGH
Soren: The next person to make that joke is getting more than just their face melted off.
Heather: Treasure secured.
Ike: Okay, steal the Unlock staff from that Bishop.
Heather: Yoink.
Tanith: Stun.
Bishop: ...Not cool. *dies*
Ike: Oliver has a Silence staff. Which he hasn't been using for some reason. Heather?
Heather: Yoink.
Oliver: You may steal my things, but the world will know about the one who stood against the many.
Ike: This parody is really wearing thin. I mean, I haven't even seen 300.
Oliver: im in ur parody, killin ur jok-AUGH
Soren: I warned him. You all saw me. It would have been rude to NOT melt his head.

Tibarn: Okay, we're up against Feral Ones.
Elincia: Laguz? Piece of cake, Laguz suck.
Tibarn: Feral Ones are permanently in beast form, though.
Elincia: Yeah, but they still suck. Weapon advantage? Nope. Status effects? Nuh-uh. Ranged attacks like Meteor? None. Even normal ranged attacks are limited to just Dragons. Face it, these guys are weaksauce. ...I could have sworn we had a Mortal Foe: Beast skill scroll somewhere around here...
Kenri: Yeah, about that. I took it off Jill, but forgot it goes to her inventory instead of to the convoy, so you're SOL. Make due with that Birdfoe scroll.
Izuka: Can we start?
Elincia: Oh, look who it is. Is there some asinine way to recruit this idiot, too, or does that only apply for grotesque random-ass minor villains who someone on the development team has a personal crush on?
Tibarn: You talk too much. Let's massacre these guys and get to the end of the game.
*20 turns later*
Tibarn: Where the hell does he keep summoning them from?! No wonder the Laguz Alliance was getting their asses kicked, apparently half of our goddamn countries are part of this guy's personal army.
Marcia: heal plx
Elincia: My Mend staff is down to 14 uses and we haven't even left the starting area yet. If you want to be healed, go stand by Reyson.
Marcia: But that's only like 5 HP a turn.
Elincia: DEAL WITH IT.
Geoffrey: Why do these dragons only give like 25 EXP?
Tibarn: Because we've been fighting for over 20 turns and they haven't landed a single hit on us? The damn crows are more of a threat.
Geoffrey: But they're dragons. They should give more EXP. I have Paragon and I'm still disappointed.
Elincia: The reinforcements have stopped.
Gatrie: Good, because I've maxed out almost all my stats.
Geoffrey: Same.
Nephenee: Same.
Elincia: I haven't maxed anything, really. I'll handle the rest of the enemies.
Geoffrey: But there are like a 20 left.
Elincia: And their precious EXP would be wasted on anyone except me.
*5 or 6 resets for terrible level ups later*
Elincia: ...And now the boss. Amiti, 22 damage x2.
Izuka: Balberith.
Elincia: ...That's it? Only 20 damage, and only a 20% chance of hitting? That's your ace in the hole? That's-
Izuka: I neglected to mention this: Flare.
Elincia: ...Crap. *dies*
Tibarn: ...You sure we can't recruit him?
*reset*
Elincia: Okay, that was embarrassing. Apparently I can defeat Zelgius, Skrimir, and Tibarn, without even using a weapon, but Izuka? No way, Izuka is much too powerful. Let's try this again: Amiti, 22 damage x2.
Izuka: Balberith. Oh, and Flare.
Elincia: *dies*
*reset*
Elincia: ...This ceases to be amusing.
Tibarn: I dunno, I find it pretty funny.
Elincia: AGAIN. Amiti, 22 x2.
Izuka: Balberith.
Izuka: ...
Izuka: I rolled a 13. Is a 13 Flare?
Elincia: No. Amiti, 22 x2.
Izuka: Dammit. *dies*
Tibarn: Are you done? Because that took forever.
Bastian: Hey Elincia, guess what, Duke Renning (your uncle) is alive!
Elincia: What.
Bastian: However, he was turned into a Feral One.
Elincia: You mean he was that Dragon I just fought? Goddess Ashera played a cruel trick on me!
Bastian: No, this is far less lame than that stupid excuse for a plot twist. He was turned into Bertram, one of Ashnard's Four Riders, and he got mind-crushed or something, I don't know.
Elincia: Oh.
Bastian: The disease that was given to him is called Final Eco-transformational Radical Alternative Likeness, or, F.E.R.A.L. We believe that only Reyson, due to his special skill, can successfully treat F.E.R.A.L.
Reyson: I will save this patient! *draws pentagram* Healing Touch (in Galdr form)!
Elincia: Those last two references were really stretching it.
Tibarn: Well, we've already done Leroy Jenkins, in ur base, all your base, Star Fox 64, 300, Sonic Adventure 2, D&D, M:tG, online gaming in general, online chat rooms, and plus all the stolen lines from House, FLCL, YGO Abridged, among others... Anything I'm forgetting?
Elincia: In other words, we have no good material left.
Tibarn: No, it's much worse than that, we had no good material to start with, and now we don't even have any okay material.

| [Spoiler for characters, just in case, click to show]
So, my team going into the final chapter is looking to be:
Ike
Micaiah
Sothe
Apostle Sanaki
Ena
Kurthnaga
Elincia
Shinon
Geoffrey
Haar
Rhys
Soren
Gatrie
Boyd
Tanith
Nephenee
Rafiel
I might be forgetting someone, but whatever.
Geoffrey is patently absurd. After 4-5, he was level 15 with every stat maxed except Magic, Defense, and HP. I fed him some Bonus EXP and now he's level 20 with all stats maxed. The guy makes Ike look pathetic by comparison.
[Spoiler for 4-Endgame (1), click to show]
Not much to say here. I absolutely massacred everyone in my way. Ena and Micaiah were on status healing duty, Rhys healed damage, Rafiel was supporting, Kurthnaga and Ena were (mostly) useless, and everyone else was cutting through Generals and Bishops like butter.
Seems like there should have been a way to spare Hetzel. I tried talking to him with Rafiel... No luck. Tried defeating every other enemy first. Nope. Ah well, no big loss.
Conversations with the boss were awesome. Shame I can't reproduce them from memory.
Anyway. Onward!

Ike: Prepare yourself! This hand of mine glows with an awesome power! And it's burning grip tells me to defeat you! TAKE THIS!! MY LOVE, MY ANGER, AND ALL OF MY SORROW! ERUPTING... BURNING... AETHER!
Black Knight: Nihil.
Ike: SHIT.
Levail: An enemy army, here?! THIS IS MADNESS!
Sanaki: Levail, will you STOP IT with the "this is madness" crap?!
Levail: S-sorry.
Elincia: Is that a NAMED lance? Oh hell yes, we need to get that.
Levail: Pfft. I have like 45 guys in front of me. Even if you kill me, they'll kill you.
Elincia: You don't care if you live?
Levail: I will die for General Zelgius. (ACTUAL DIALOGUE)
Haar: Yes, Levail. You will. (ACTUAL DIALOGUE)
Levail: And my accuracy DOESN'T suck, so I'll actually hit anyone who comes near me. Oh, and I have Impale. So yeah, good luck trying to kill me.
Soren: Hey, guess what? I've got some bad news, and some very bad news. Blizzard, 30 damage x2.
Levail: ...Crap. *dies*
Soren: ...How did I get the spear...?
Elincia: Hey Ike, you almost finished? These guys fight pretty well despite having their general killed in the first move of the first turn. ...Is that a record, by the way?
Ike: Almost done.
Black Knight: You can't use Aether. You can't beat me.
Ike: I planned for that. Luckily, I have this. HAMMER.
Black Knight: What.
Ike: HAMMERHAMMERHAMMERHAMMERHAMMER
Black Knight: AUGH! MY GLARING WEAKNESS HAS BEEN EXPLOITED!
Ike: ...So, what, has this Hammer been blessed or something? Because I could have sworn BK had some lame plot device that was supposed to stop me from doing that.
Yune: No one cares. Loot his corpse and let's go.

Soren: Not to worry. I had my Blizzard tome blessed by Yune. INFINITE AMMO CHEAT ACTIVATED! *puts a Red Dragon on ice*
Micaiah: That was a far better idea than I care to admit.
Ike: Haar, can you one-shot this guy with your Dragonfoe skill, or what?
Haar: Actually, I do, like, 3 damage to him.
Ike: What.
Ike: WHAT.
Ike: WHAT.
Ike: NERF DHEGINSEA
Ike: Okay, in that case, everyone swarm him.

Haar: Well, obviously.

Elincia: Which is why we had to do the chapter over.
Ike: Exactly. Okay, this is gonna work. Shinon, Double Bow. Haar, Urvan. Geoffrey, Wishblade. I'll put myself in his range, alone, and use Ragnell for attacks and counterattacks. Healers! Elincia, Rhys, and Soren, there, there, and there. Be ready. Rafiel, use Galdr on Geoffrey, Haar, and Shinon. Okay, let's do this. A five, six, seven, eight!
*two turns later*
Dheginsea: The strongest among you look like ants to me. Can you really hope to defeat me, child?
Sanaki: O-of course. I am the Empress of Begnion, it is my duty to protect the people of my country. Even against you, the mightiest of all dragons.
Dheginsea: Then fulfill your duty, pathetic child.
Sanaki: k. *kills Dheginsea*
Kurthnaga: Father!
Dheginsea: It is all right, son... This wound is nothing.
Ena: You know, an Elixir would fix this right up.
Ike: An Elixir?! I'm not made of Elixirs! C'mon guys, let's go.

| In non-Brawl related gaming "news", I have started playing "Mother", the first game in the Mother series, better known in the US as "that series we only got one game from and they changed the title to EarthBound because Mother sounds really awkward".
[Spoiler for Mother, click to show]
So, I start out my journey by naming the characters their default names - Ninten, Ana, Lloyd, and Teddy. This fills me with equal parts dread and rage. I just know Ana is going to die every 5 seconds and that Lloyd is going to spout crap like "If one sword has the power of 100 then two swords should have the power of 200!" and generally be a pest, albeit a cute and likable pest. And Teddy is named Teddy.
Ninten is a great name, though. If I ever get a dog, I'm naming it Ninten.
Anyway... I fight some lamps and a creepy possessed doll and leave my house and start grinding.
GRINDAN GAEMS
Like 18 hours later I'm strong enough to progress to the next area, the town of Podunk.
Who names this crap?
Anyway... I beat the hell out of some Pseudo-Zombies, get a canary chick, return it to a talking canary in Canary City, and finally head off to the graveyard, where I beat the hell out of confused little bats. I rescue a girl named Pippi, and take her off to GRIND SOME MORE because she's a second party member for now and is pretty useful.
GRINDAN GAEMS
12 hours later I'm strong enough to not get horribly mangled by the enemies I've been grinding against when I'm on my own, so I return Pippi to Podunk's mayor who returns her to her mom. I get a Franklin Badge as a reward and head off to The Zoo.
HOLY **** THE ZOO
IF I HEAR A GIRL SINGING I AM GETTING THE **** OUT OF-wait, I already did this joke? In the Brawl topic?
Dammit, I need new material.
ANYWAY, I make my way through The Zoo, avoiding kyropterans and find the Zoo's main building. I beat the crap out of a Starman Jr. and make my way to MAGICANT, a dream city where cats do backstrokes on the ground.
I have no idea what the **** is going on anymore.
Skipping ahead of boring crap... I get a weird birdman on my team, I meet the Queen, yadda yadda, and... uh... that's where I am now.
Onto Magicant Cave, I beat the hell out of a fish and find a nowhere man. Who is making a lot of nowhere plans, for nobody. I ignore him and he ceases to exist. WTF.
Back in the real world, I backtrack to my house to ditch some items, save, and call it a night.

Okay, returning to Merrysville, I enter the school and start talking to every kid I see and stealing items.
But I'm totally a law-abiding citizen.
I find the janitor and convince him to let me up on the roof, where I find Lloyd hiding in a trash can. He asks me to find him a bottle rocket, so OFF I GO!
I find a factory south of town, wander around, get way too many items (Ninten can only hold like 8 items, wtf is up with that?), and find a BOTTLE ROCKET!
Back to school, me and Lloyd blow up the lab. lol whoops.
Anyway, he joins my party, and I use the Onyx Hook to return to MAGICANT for more grinding because Lloyd is level 1 and I'm level 17 or so.
GRINDAN GAEMS
57 hours later, Lloyd is level 9ish and has the best armor, so back to Merrysville for MORE GRINDING against slightly tougher enemies
GRINDAN GAEMS
7 hours later Lloyd is level 12 and has the best weapon, too, so it's time to tackle the OTHER factory. Luckily I have a map this time so it won't manage to mess me up like the first factory di-JESUS ****ING CHRIST
