Very fun, but the difficulty can be enraging at times <_<
Cavestory+: 5/10
Not as good as I thought it'd be, but also not TERRIBLE. Kind of "meh".
Which I have to ask: How the fuck did this ever get compared to Minecraft let alone have Minecraft be accused of ripping off Cave Story? They aren't even remotely similar.
Civilization 5: 6/10
Having gotten Civ4 a while back, and falling in love with the game, I have mixed feelings about Civ5...
On one hand, they've improved A LOT of things. Some techs are more streamlined. Some menus got better, city expansion is slightly better.
On the other, some things got worse. Like the graphics. The graphics are... Too real? I mean, the graphics got "so good" and realistic, they had to revert to using an Icon system over everything so you can tell at a quick glance what everything is. Unlike Civ4 where you can take 1 half second glance and know what everything is.
Civ5? That farm? Looks like a hundred other buildings <_<
Civ4, things look like what you'd expect. No more, no less.
Just Cause 2: 9/10
Only way to say it: GRAND THEFT AUTO, ON CRACK.

Legend of Grimrock: 9/10
Really fucking good. And I've never been a fan of this style of game, but it's very good. Difficulty can spike at times, and the puzzles range from WHO THE HELL COULD FIGURE THAT OUT!? to THAT WAS A PUZZLE?!
LIMBO: 8/10
Very weird game, but clever. And fucking terrifying. (Yes, I'm referring to the Spider parts)
Plants Vs Zombies: ...5/10
Decent game, but... It's... Not as good as everyone made it out to be.
Sanctum: N/A
Haven't spent enough time on this, but from what I've seen it's really good.
Sanctum is basically a hybrid FPS/Tower defense game.

Notably Jeb, a temporary AI designer, and now Dinnerbone (Dinnerbone was the guy who originally created Bukkit, which is an enhanced server mod). Afterwards, Notch gave development of Minecraft over to Jeb because Jeb enjoyed working on the game, and Notch wanted to develop other games. (And you wouldn't believe the RAGE over that... <_<)
So now Jeb and Dinnerbone are really the only 2 working on the PC version of Minecraft.
Minecraft Phone Edition has its own dev team within Mojang.
And the 360 version of Minecraft is developed by another company (4J Studios) altogether. (They're damn good devs when it comes to ports, too. They developed the Perfect Dark remake/port, and it was amazing.)
I have, though. I've heard Minecraft be called a ripoff of Cave Story. THEY HAVE NOTHING EVEN REMOTELY IN COMMON. If anything, Terraria is closer to Cave Story, and even then only BARELY.

-Okay so... Fire Emblem 13. This game has a lot of cool stuff in it. In fact it's just packed full of all kinds of stuff. Mastery skills! Non-mastery skills! Supports (tons and tons of supports)! Branching promotions! Second generation children characters! The issue is that it has a couple issues that are... completely baffling.
Most of the maps are pretty bad, for one. Lots of people have made this same complaint lately but it can't be overstated. A lot of the maps are small, completely barren rooms, which leads to the game being less about strategy and more about two stats-blocks whamming into each other at full speed. In theory this nerfs mages and other squishy units and buffs knights and other low movement units, but in practice there are enough effective weapons that the best defense is to use Nosferatu (which you can only do as one specific magic class) or run away (which buffs high movement units). So it's pretty similar to other FE games in terms of which classes are great.
There's also a nice selection of difficulties and even a Casual mode where units don't perma-die. The thing is that any difficulty above Normal has reinforcements that move and act on the same turn, which is an even worse design decision in FE13 than it was in FE6/FE12/etc because the maps are smaller. Classic mode also disallows in-battle saves, which means there's absolutely no reason to ever pick anything other than Casual (and just reset on unit "death" if you want more challenge).
-Also have been playing Aliens: Infestation recently, and by recently I just mean "today" because I beat it in like two sittings because I'm completely OCD about Metroidvania games. It's a bit clunky and doesn't have enough enemy or area variety by any means, but it's also very fun and has some really great atmosphere. The fact that this game exists when Metroid Fusion (and to a lesser extent, the rest of the Metroid series) also does is sort of reminiscent of watching a cat chase its own tail. Maybe someday there will be an Alien game that improves enough on the Metroid formula to take the title of "best Alien game" back from the Metroid series.

Ehhh... I'm not actually too fond of this now having played it. Sanctum 1 was totally focused on the tower defense aspect of the game, with a shooter tacked on that worked well.
Sanctum 2 focuses less on the tower defense aspects and more on team work / the shooter aspect.
Borderlands 2
Holy fuck is this game GOOD. Diablo with guns basically. It's fucking awesome.

This is based on memory, but luckily collecting them is something I have to do often so I think I know all their locations by memory!
1. When you walk in (Hyrule Field entrance) it's in front of you
2. By the stairs to the left (again, relative to if you entered from Hyrule Field) that lead towards Death Mountain there's a box, roll into it to break, it's inside.
3. Keep heading towards Death Mountain there's one over closer to the exit.
4. If you keep heading in from the Hyrule Entrance there's a stair to your right by the Skulltula house, there's one there.
5. By the girl who gives you the quest
For 6 and 7, you'll need to use one of the previous five cuccos. Take a cucco and bring it up by the windmill, see how there's no fence keeping in you in at the end? Jump off it with the cucco and you should be able to get enough distance to sail over that fence thing. Remember to throw the cucco you took to do this back on the other side of the fence so you can retrieve it later. Same for the two cuccos you came here for.
6. On the ground on the other side of the fence you jumped. Be careful there's a hole in the ground there. Forget if entering it resets collection.
7. There's a ladder that brings you up to the hill near the windmill, climb it, there's a cucco there.
Unless you mean a different cucco thing. In which case I may be less help. Maybe. I remember a lot from OoT, even when it doesn't necessarily concern speedrunning (at least the routes I know)
