| I generally hate K-Mart, but moments like this make me love it. I saw that they had a new copy of Advance Wars DS, priced at $35. I decided to buy it since I'd been looking for it for a long time. They rung it up, and charged me $9.70.

| After working retail for a while, and the time in sHell, I don't get as much free stuff as I used to. That's mainly because if something is screwed up, I'll say something about it, even if it means that I have to pay more for it. If someone gives me extra change, I give it back since I know it'll screw em up later when figuring out the drawer later.
The times when that happens the most is when someone forgets to ring up something: I understand them, and know their jobs suck. If it's something where it rings up wrong, then screw em, it's in the system wrong. If something rings up wrong when I'm at work and it's for the customer's benefit, I'll let it slide, since all I'm doing is scanning things. Hell, depending on what it is, I go and grab it so I can get it for cheap before the higher ups figure out something's borked.
I can say though that if I had never worked in the convenience store or at Gander now...fuck em, I gets all I can for free. Hell, depending on the attitude of the customer, if they give me more money than they meant to (usually just a dollar here or there), I'll give it back to them. If they're assholes, once again, fuck em.
