It's important to note that the Chinese baby was actually ineligible from the onset, but nobody cared enough to check when she was registered. It's also interesting to note that the rules containing the non-citizen exclusion clause were publicly available for anyone to rant about, but nobody really cared until it had to be implemented. And if the story weren't so sensational (i.e., if instead of $25,000 it was a small rubber sponge), there's no chance it would reach any sort of national media outlet, despite the fact that it's the same invalid/senseless principle.

It's possible it's designed to mature in 18 or so years, to provide for the baby's college education. (Assuming it goes to college.)
PS there's only like, one Toys R Us that I ever go to when I need to get something because all others suck total ass compared to it.
I used to be a big fan of Toys R Us up until I stopped playing video games; they tend to have one of the best selections in Boise.

Customer service is a pain in the ass, they're all rude fucks with sticks stuck so far up their asses, the stick appears out their mouth.
Their return policy is also fucking shit. The one here won't take ANY video games back. PERIOD. It doesn't matter if it's been opened or not.
Also, they tend to handle the stuff like shit. One time I seen them stocking shelves with some kind of glass collectors toy... The guy actually dropped several and you could hear them smash. And put them back on the god damn shelf anyway.
I was with my mom at the time and she told the manager and he told her to mind her own damn business.
The stores are just fucking shit. Everyone I've been to (Like, 4 total.) is the same fucking way.
