"'GM is not being a responsible citizen by airing something that so closely imitates life.'" (http://cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/story/9984181)

1. GM is not a citizen.
2. Since when does producing something on television that imitates reality qualify a corporation as 'irresponsible'? Does that make documentaries irresponsible? Sitcoms? What else?
3. How in God's name does a robot that kills itself in any way imitate life at all, let alone closely?

Personally, watching that ad made me attempt suicide.

Thanks a lot, GM. :(

That commercial brought a smile to my face along with the Snickers commercial that pissed off gay rights people.

Then the online alternate ending to the Snickers one made me laugh and The Daily Show's alternate ending to Robot Suicide made me laugh even harder. <_<

I haven't seen any alternate endings, but I assume they involved death.

Well, the robot did. It wasn't an official one, it was something The Daily Show did up for the story. Anyway, it shot itself in the face and someone threw some machine parts and oil against a wall. It was amusing. >_>

I only watched the commercials, muted the game because I dont give a damn about American Football. I'd much rather be watching an English Premiership match then sweaty old men get in pig piles and butt-fuck each other for three hours.

American football is comical. You get to laugh at the many failures.

Someone summarize the Snickers ad for me, I never saw it. >_>

Self: Google it, jackass.

:(

Anyway, that seems... slightly offensive. But no more so than ads that continue to aired. (See my topic about Gamestop's deplorable commercial.)
