I've been trying to get with either A or B for awhile now, and I just met C not too long ago.
Some background info: I'm really close friends with A/B, but nothing more can come to it because they're both in relationships. They throw a bunch of signs, but I make nothing of it because, well I don't want to get inbetween a relationship directly. They both seem to fade interest in me, so I decide to stay neutral and play the waiting game.
Now probably about 3 weeks ago, I decide to just stop trying entirely. Whatever, coolies. A week ago I met C, and we kick it off nicely and everything is pretty much smooth at the moment. I would ask her out to a day on Valentine's, but I got work that day...
Girl A starts talking and throwing off even more signs that she's interested in me. Girl B just told me that she just broke up with her boyfriend.
...Why the hell does this shit happen when I stop trying? Why did it all explode all at the same time?

That's because, as girls, they have no concern for anybody else except themselves. No surprise there. I say forget AB - as they seem to be quite, uh, loose - and stay with C.
