| Level: 49 Liberal Arts Major | House First ten minutes. "The patient clearly has lupus." Next twenty minutes. "The patient is clearly sick. Here are a bunch of possible reasons why. Let's treat all of them." Next twenty minutes. "Clearly our tests aren't working. Perhaps now we should actually take a look at the patient." A minute later, after looking at the patient. "D'oh." Me Step 1. "Maybe the interpreter is a space-bigot. I'll just change the number of spaces I'm using!" Step 2. "Hm, that didn't work. Maybe the problem isn't here. Maybe it's in another file!" Step 3. "This strategy isn't working. Maybe I should actually read the code I'm trying to fix." Ten seconds later. "D'oh." ___ ~ Ogordemir ~ Buddha promised me Nirvana and all I got was this lousy T-shirt.
