| Level: 49 Liberal Arts Major | http://abcnews.go.com/Nightline/story?id=3148940&page=1 Video in the right corner. Laughs throughout. EDIT: Oh, and the word "science" doesn't come from scientificus, it came from the base word sciens, which means simply "knowledge". I find it amusing the debater begins his argument with not only outright factual inaccuracy but also fallacious logic - in this case an argument from etymology. ___ ~ Ogordemir ~ Buddha promised me Nirvana and all I got was this lousy T-shirt. | Level: 30 Legend | "...the third law of thermodynamics, which states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed." WTF is he talking about. That's the first law you incompetent retard. The third law is about entropy approaching a constant when the temperature goes to O Kelvin. .................................. ___ The bitch is back. |

| Level: 49 Liberal Arts Major | That's the first law you incompetent retard. I even knew that. >_> If God is infinite, why can't the universe be infinite? If you mean infinitely old, it's because then God couldn't have created the universe because it was always there to begin with (so either the universe is God or there's no need for a first cause). If you mean infinitely large, yeah, the ideas aren't necessarily mutually exclusive. ___ ~ Ogordemir ~ Buddha promised me Nirvana and all I got was this lousy T-shirt. | Level: 43 Editor | Because then the universe would be God. How convenient, a theory about God that doesn't involve looking through a giant telescope.
