*SPOILERS! ...I should probably buy those tags sometime... nothing important though*

Gin disappears after this story arc, and then the anime has a filler arc that kind of blows. He shows up again after that however. It's a good twenty to thirty episodes until this story are is over, and he is quite prominent in it however.
