How anyone can say Tritter was worse than this guy astounds me. Tritter was two-dimensional, he was a petty ass, but Vogler is just completely full of crap.

"Hey guys, I'm here to save lives and make money! House, you're our best doctor. Fire one of your dudes because your department wastes money."
"No, I can save you money another way."
"This isn't about the money! We're here to save lives!"
"I do save lives."
"This isn't about the lives! You're fired!"
"Why?"
"Dunno lol"

Really, what was this guy's point? Did he have one? It might have been obscured by all the hypocrisy. <_<

Really, what was this guy's point?

His function was to be a black guy.

Actually no, I think he was there to introduce us to House's principles; e.g., when he gives that speech at the banquet to win over that demon bitch and ends up sabotaging himself in order to avoid abdicating his values. Yeah.

Err. I phrased that badly. What point was Vogler trying to make? Not what purpose did his character serve. >_>

Oh, that's easy to answer. Vogler was trying to recreate his experiences as the playground bully, having never progressed intellectually past the age of 6.
