Level: 30 Legend	At first I thought that Vista was gay and was not compatible with sound recorder programs. Then I dled several made FOR Vista - same static bull shit. Lastly, I tried the sound recorder they ship with the OS (you know, the old, unfeatured accessories sound recorder). ..... STILL FUCKING STATIC!!!! FUCK YOU VISTA!!!!! IF YOU HAVE SOME FUCKING CONTRACT TO NOT ALLOW FUCKING RECORDING OF FUCKING SOUND WITH FUCKING WAVE OUT, WELL FUCK YOU. Level: 49 Liberal Arts Major	... Have you ever considered that it might your ACTUAL computer, and not just Vista? Problem with the sound card, mic port could be bad, hell even your mic could even be bad. I know I had a problem with static a LONG ASS TIME ago, when I had my Mic. A wire broke somewhere in it and all I got was static when I talked through it. Level: 30 Legend	Well, it's not the mic - it's the Wave Out Sound is perfect, but when I try to record it from my sound card, it becomes all staticy. I don't know - it might be the comp, but HP doesn't usually fuck up like that.
